BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO SUNTRANS
北京阳光创译语言翻译有限公司(Suntrans) 成立于2008年2 月 。公司总部设立在北京，在美国纽约设有分公司，并在乌 干达和巴基斯设有办事处。在董事长吕国博士的带领下，历时17年， 阳光创译由最初只有6人的翻译团队发展至今成为拥有 50 余名全职管 理人员、1024 名兼职译员和 68 名核心译审人员的专业队伍。

Suntrans is headquartered in Beijing, with a branch in New York (U.S.), and offices in Kampala (Uganda) and Lahore (Pakistan). Led by Dr. Lu Guo, CEO of Suntrans, Suntrans has quickly grown from a team of only 6 employees seventeen years ago into a company with over 50 full-time employees, 68 core translators and proofreaders, and 1024 part-time translators.

Conferences and Exhibitions Suntrans has successfully hosted eight sessions of International Mining Development Forum and four sessions of International Translation Forum, which have greatly facilitated the development and transformation of mining investment enterprises both at home and abroad. Positioning The core position of Suntrans has gradually shifted from its initial "Suntrans = Mining Translation" position as the builder of China's leading geology and mining translation company , into "Suntrans = International Mining Services Platform", encompassing mining translation, mining conference organization, mining conxsulting, mining talent acquisition, the Belt and Road Chamber of Commerce, mining media, and other such service sectors.

北京阳光创译语言翻译有限公司董事长，美国纽约阳光创译矿业咨询公 司 (NewYorkSuntrans ConsultingLC)CEO, 中国地质大学(北京)矿物学、岩石学、矿床学博士 博士公派留学于美国迈阿密大学(Miami University) ,北京大学地质学博士后，曾工作于世界最大矿业公司必和必拓(BHP Biliton)和中国地质调查局境外矿产战 略研究室。他担任中国地球物理学会构造物理化学专业 委员会副主任；中国地质学会资源产业经济专业委员会 副秘书长；中国亚洲经济发展协会矿业专业委员会副秘 书长；多所高校翻译专业校外导师。
Dr. Lyu Guo is the Chairman of Beijing Suntrans Language Translation Co., Ltd. and the CEO of New York Suntrans Mining Consulting LLC. He has received his first Ph.D. (in mineralogy, petrology and mineral deposits) from the China University of Geosciences (Beijing), jointly cultivated by Miami University (U.S.)(government-sponsored) and finished his Postdoctoral studies at Peking University. He previously worked for BHP Billiton, the largest mining company in the world, and worked for the Overseas Mineral Strategy Research Office of the China Geological Survey.He serves as the Vice Director of the Structural Physical Chemistry Professional Committee of the Chinese Geophysical Society; the Deputy Secretary-General of the Resource Industry Economics Professional Committee of the Chinese Geological Society; the Deputy Secretary-General of the Mining Professional Committee of the China Asia Economic Development Association; and an external supervisor for translation major at several universities.
他参与编译了各国矿业投资指南丛书以及多部 地质矿业领域作品，并持续多年为中国国际矿业大会、加拿大勘探与开发者协会(PDAC)、中国-东盟矿业合作论坛、铁矿石论坛、国土部、中国地质调查局、商务部援外培训班等重要会议和论坛提供翻译服务，受到中国中央电视台CCTV、 美 国ABC 电视 台、乌干达国家电视台NT、非 洲NewVision,DailyMonitor、Mirror、《中国国土资源报》等媒体的采访和报道，并为多国总统级、部级政要提供过翻译服务。同时，他也曾先后赴加拿大、美国、非洲乌干达、香港、巴基斯坦、斯里兰卡、新加坡等国家和地区提供地质矿业翻译，并参与了许多大型国际矿业项目的收购，他组织及主持了系列国际矿业发展高峰论坛和国际翻译高峰论坛
Dr. Lyu Guo participated in the compilation and translation of several Mining Investment Guides for different countries,and many other books in the fields of mining and geology. He has provided interpretation services for a number of international mining conferences, forums and entities for many foreign leaders and ministers. He has been interviewed or reported by China Central Television (CCTV), the American Broadcasting Company (ABC), Uganda Television (NT), New Vision, Daily Monitor, Mirror, China Land and Resources News, and others. He has provided geological and mining translation and interpretation services in many countries, such as Canada, U.S., Uganda, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Singapore and has participated in a number of major international mining acquisitions.

Ph.D. in mineralogy, petrology and mineral deposits from China University of Geosciences (Beijing), jointly cultivated by Miami University in America (government-sponsored) and finished his Postdoctoral studies at Peking University in China.

中国地质大学(北京)教授，博士生导师；主要从事矿产勘查与投资领域的教 学与科研；为中国矿业领域学术派和实战派相结合的典型代表，承担过大量的 国内外矿业公司的上市评估、融资、矿山转让及上市公司矿产储量评估工作
A professor at China University of Geosciences (Beijing) and a supervisor of doctoral degree candidates. He mainly offers teaching, scientific research in mining exploration and investment; acts as a typical representative of academic and practical experts, and undertakes the following work in many mining companies both at home and abroad, including listing appraisal, financing, mine transfer as well as evaluation on listed companies’ mineral resources reserve.
吕古贤 Lyu Guxian
中国地质科学院地质力学研究所研究员，博士生导师。主要从事区域成矿、构造成岩成矿理论和矿产预测研究。创新性地提出“构造物理化学”这一新的地学理论认识，丰富发展了地质力学理论，促进和提高构造成矿的研究和预测水平，在金矿床研究和生产中得到了初步验证和证实，取得了较显著的社会和经济效益。2017年获得我国地质科学最高荣誉——第十五次“李四光地质科学奖”。
Researcher and Doctoral Supervisor of Institute of Geomechanics, CAGS, mainly engaged in the research of regional mineralization, diagenetic and metallogenic theory, and mineral resources prognosis; putting forward the new geological theory of tectonic physicochemistry, which enriches and develops the geomechanical theory,improves the study and prognosis level of tectonic mineralization, and is tested and recognized in the study and production of gold deposits with significant social and economic benefits being created; wining the “15th Li Siguang Geological Science Award”, the highest honor of Chinese geological science.

Chen is a professor of School of Earth and Space Sciences, Peking University, a supervisor of doctoral degree candidates and a researcher of the Key Laboratory of Guangzhou Institute of geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He is mainly engaged in teaching and rsearch in terms of diagenesis, mineralization and accumulation.
