编者序：非常荣幸在第79届联合国大会高级别会议周期间代表真实影像，作为社会事业和传播领域的工作者之一，赴纽约出席联合国南南合作办公室举办的圆桌会议 UNGA79 Intergenerational Roundtable on South-South Cooperation, Social Business and Climate Actions （第79届联合国大会南南合作、社会企业和气候行动代际圆桌会议）并发言，与各界代表与青年领袖们就行动参与联合国可持续发展目标的南南合作、社会事业以及应对气候变化等主题进行交流与分享。

2024年9月22日至29日，来自世界各地的政治人物、商界与民间社会代表齐聚纽约，参与第79届联合国大会高级别会议周，支持可持续发展目标达成、加速进展并支持已经正在进行的变革。
真实影像长期关注联合国制定的 17 项可持续发展目标的缓慢进展，旨在贡献绵薄之力，内容化与传播，构建模型，行动，以推动实现更美好、更可持续的未来。事实上，目前只有不到五分之一的目标能够在2030年议程规定的最后期限内实现。
为此，真实影像在分享经验的同时，回应机构理念——公共利益价值化，在会议上作出比以往更努力的承诺：Committed to Truth, Dedicated to Change，致力于真理，投身于变革。
具体将投入更多关注及行动于以下目标：

I am Qiu Jiaqiu, founder of Real Image Media, a director, and a former journalist from China. It is an honor to be here today to share with you our journey and our mission.

We have been documenting the stories that often go unheard. In the dense jungles of Papua New Guinea, we have witnessed the indigenous people's fight to protect their forests from illegal logging. This logging is tied to land rights violations in the global supply chain with Unfulfilled Responsibilities , and it is having a profound impact on our climate. Recently, in southwest of China, we completed a documentary on the 20-year battle over the construction of the River dams. It's a tale of ecological protection, the struggle of local intellectuals, and the delicate balance between economic development and environmental sustainability.
Innovation is at the core of what we do. The short films "On the Border" and "A Gentle Night," produced by our team, have each been honored with awards at the Cannes Film Festival. These films, adapted from true stories, are not just entertainment; they are a call to action. We are also developing feature films and TV series that bring to life the pressing issues of global sustainable development. Through the power of social enterprise and business acumen, we are able to turn these stories into profits that give back to the market and society.
Our work is more than just a visual representation; it is a siren song, a message from the future. It is a reminder that climate change is not a distant threat but an immediate crisis. Through visual storytelling, we make the complexity of climate change accessible and inspire public engagement.
Our mission is to convert public interest into tangible value. We do this by spreading information through our images and transforming these stories into NFTs using blockchain technology. This innovation directly benefits those involved in South-South cooperation. For instance, we have established the Real Villages DAO and issued image-based NFTs through the Land Warden Project, ensuring that indigenous villagers in regions like Asia and Africa can stably benefit from the technological revolution.
Additionally, one of our shareholders, Mask Network, has endowed scholarships at the Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism and Yale-China to support professional and citizen journalists covering sustainable development. We firmly believe that education is pivotal to addressing climate change.
As social enterprises, we act as a bridge between governments, markets, and society, mobilizing diverse forces for climate action. We have established the Movie For Change, NEW Emerging Countries Media Forum and the Sino-European Center for Sustainability，where we bring the topics we're focused on into the spotlight on our cross-regional, interdisciplinary platforms designed for open discussion. This gives policymakers straightforward solutions. It's crucial to find a balance between government backing and intervention, to reach a consensus, to dispel any misconceptions and biases with solid scientific principles and data, and to make sure we're sustainable by following market rules.
We also aim to empower young social leaders by enhancing their communication and image-making skills. We are planning to collaborate with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University to launch a free communication skills enhancement program for social workers in East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Central Asia.
We're looking to drive innovative social enterprise initiatives that proactively engage with cross-culture communication and Global Collaboration, Decentralization and Value Redefinition, Harnessing the Power of Authentic Visual Impact, Rural Revitalization and Global Poverty Alleviation, Environment and Global Supply Chain Sustainability, Reforms and Actions Linked to Sustainable Development Goals, Innovation in Social Enterprises and Sustainable Business Practices, Focus on Children, Youth, and Women, Education on Death, Climate Change and Food Transformation, Humanitarianism and Disaster Relief.. Our goal is to deliver actionable solutions to the challenges in these areas, aiming to build a brighter future for the generations to come.

尊敬的各位代表、社会企业领袖、非政府组织代表、青年领袖们，
我是真实影像的创始人，导演和前记者邱嘉秋，我们曾有幸通过新闻纪录片《The Chain》记录了巴布亚新几内亚丛林中的土著人民如何保护他们的原始森林免受未尽责任的全球供应链所导致的非法砍伐而造成的土地权益和环境影响。在南方，我们刚完成了一部记录横跨二十年水电建设之辩的生态保护故事与当代知识分子抉择的作品，当然，也是一个关于平衡经济发展与气候变化与环境保护的故事。
同时，我们积极践行商业创新，曾两度通过出品和策划电影选题，获得戛纳电影节短片主竞赛的奖项，《On the boarder》和《A Gentle Night》，以及正在开发多部故事片电影和电视剧，都是根据真实题材改编。我们通过社会企业重视的市场和商业逻辑，来讲世界最需要关注的全球可持续发展公共议题，通过”源于真实“的改编，充分市场化，赢得收益，也反馈给了市场和社会，如推动公共政策改良。
这些作品不仅仅是艺术创作，更是警钟，是对未来的呼唤。它们提醒我们，气候变化和其他公共议题的紧迫性。影像表达，让大众更容易地了解复杂且严肃的话题，并激励他们参与。
我们不仅通过图像传播内容，还通过区块链技术将这些故事转化为NFT，让南南合作的覆盖人群直接受益。比如，我们建立了“万村影像DAO”（Real Villages DAO ），并发行影像类NFT “Land Warden Project NFT”（地球乡土守望者 NFT），赠送给亚洲和非洲等南南地区的乡村原住民，让每个人都能在高速发展的科技时代能保证不被时代抛弃，并稳定受益。

此外，我们的shareholder，Mask Network 在伯克利新闻学院和Yale-China设立奖学金，资助专业记者和公众进行可持续发展领域的报道，我们认为教育是解决气候变化问题的关键之一。
社会企业作为连接政府、市场和社会的桥梁，可以调动多方力量参与气候治理，我们也策划发起了Movie For Change 多个垂直主题电影节和新兴国家传媒论坛( NEW Emerging Countries Media Forum )等，联合共建了中欧可持续发展交流中心 ( Sino – European Center for Sustainability），为把我们从内容领域关注的议题，放到我们设计和发起的跨地区和跨学科的平台上进行讨论，客观传播中国经验和智慧，给政策制定者给出决策参考和直接建议。同时，我们要平衡来自支持方的资助与干预，寻求共识，基于科学原理和事实消除误解和偏见，要实现长期利益和可持续发展，我们必须尊重市场规律，并确保自身的可持续性。
我们同样支持年轻社会领袖提升传播和影像创作能力。例如，我们在与香港理工大学等探讨并计划推出一项免费的传播能力提升计划，面向东亚、东南亚和中亚地区的广大在校或执业社工。
我们希望通过这些行动，更积极关注跨文化交流与国际合作, 去中心化与价值重塑, 源于真实的影像影响力, 乡村振兴与全球减贫, 环境与全球供应链, 可持续发展目标关联的改革与行动, 社会事业创新与可持续的商业, 儿童、青年与女性的关注, 生命教育, 气候变化与食物变革, 人道主义与救灾等问题，为以上问题的挑战提供切实可行的解决方案，致力于真理，投身于变革，为子孙后代创造更美好的未来。
