With the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaching, Mexico is once again on the world football stage. As a three-time World Cup host, Mexico will showcase its rich football tradition and urban strength to the world through three cities and three stadiums.

The Final Draw for World Cup 2026 took place on December 5, 2025, there are 12 groups, with four teams in each group.Mexico, one of the hosts, was placed into Group A.

2026 FIFA World Cup mascots
2025 年 9 月，三个官方吉祥物正式亮相，分别代表三个主办国。加拿大麋鹿 Maple™、墨西哥美洲虎 Zayu™ 和美国白头鹰 Clutch™ 都经过精心设计，旨在反映各自国家充满活力的文化、传统和精神，共同象征着团结、多样性以及对这项美丽运动的共同热情。
The three official mascots, each highlighting one of the host nations, were unveiled in September 2025. Maple™ the Moose (Canada), Zayu™ the Jaguar (Mexico) and Clutch™ the Bald Eagle (United States) have been thoughtfully developed to reflect the vibrant culture, heritage and spirit of their respective countries, coming together to symbolise unity, diversity and the shared passion for the beautiful game.
