尼日利亚阿布贾机场第二跑道建设即将启动 项目造价达920亿奈拉
中国土木工程集团公司将负责施工 跑道预计12个月内完工

据领导者报报道,尼日利亚航空部 officially announced on Twitter that the Federal Government has handed over the construction site of Phase II runway at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja to China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC).
The federal government has allocated a total of 12,000 hectares of land for the runway, ensuring long-term availability of this critical infrastructure within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) land reserve.
The Abuja airport second runway project is valued at 92 billion naira and is expected to be completed within 12 months.
Aviation Minister Hadi Sirika stated that the new runway was necessary owing to its national significance, noting that the existing one - built more than 30 years ago without major repairs - would serve the country well after renovation. He added that during construction, Kaduna Airport would serve as an alternative.
Nigeria's Federal Airports Authority (FAAN) Managing Director Mr. Rabiu Yadudu revealed that the authority had undertaken major maintenance work on aging equipment and components at the facility over the past three years.
