We are seeking a talented postdoctoral researcher to join Dr. Ting Wang’s research group at SUNY-Albany. We are looking for a candidate who has solid knowledge background and experimental skills in organic chemistry. We expect our future colleague to be self-motivated and dedicated, and he/she should also be an excellent team player.


Research in our group is focused on the development of new synthetic methods. Of particular interests are the discovery of new synthetic strategies via visible light photoredox catalysis and cooperative catalysis, and their applications in the synthesis of bioactive small molecules, carbohydrates, peptides, and proteins. We look forward to having you join our endeavor of pursuing the frontiers of organic chemistry.


Applicants should have a Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry or related areas. Candidates are expected to design and conduct experiments, analyze results, and report the project. We hope the prospective candidate have excellent skills in both spoken and written English. We will provide competitive salaries and benefits to support your exploration here. The position is for one year with possibility of renewal upon satisfactory performance.
