不过《每日邮报》注意到,欧盟在对外宣称是为了更好地维护“公平”的市场竞争环境,而实际上隐约包含着贸易保护主义的势力,而在对待他国实施的“公平”竞争举措却指手画脚,分析人士表示《每日邮报》此报道意在提醒欧盟在对待英国企业上仍需像对待欧盟区国家那般。与此同时《每日邮报》还指出,欧盟近年来不断提高中国企业在欧的投资门槛,甚至还制定的专门的行业标准,这在一定程度上为中国企业在欧投资带来了一定的影响。而在此情况下中国企业在欧的投资也开始出现下滑。
