食品科技创新和包容与可持续工业发展（ISID）：滋养未来
联合国工业发展组织投资和技术促进网络于2020年由ITPO Italy首次发起了“UNIDO Global Call全球方案征集活动”。作为工发组织的全球竞赛旗舰项目，该活动旨在表彰并奖励为全球挑战提供创新解决方案的企业。去年，Global Call 2023由ITPO Beijing牵头发起，聚焦清洁智慧能源，通过发掘并推广可复制、可推广的技术解决方案，推动工业发展向更加包容、更加可持续的方向迈进。Global Call 2023共收到来自亚洲、欧洲、北美、南美和非洲 60 个国家的 315 份清洁能源解决方案。
今年，Global Call 2024由ITPO Korea发起，主题为“食品科技创新和包容与可持续工业发展（ISID）：滋养未来”。食品科技（FOODTECH）囊括了机器人、人工智能（AI）、物联网（IoT）以及3D打印等前沿科学技术行业，正深刻地改变着食品行业的生产和消费流程。然而，当前全球食品系统岌岌可危，约7.8亿人口饱受饥饿之苦，同时有三分之一的食品被浪费。此外，占全球排放量三分之一的温室气体都源于现行食品系统的漏洞。
此次活动旨在寻找具有先进创新技术的企业，解决全球食品系统中的问题，如饥饿和资源分配不均等，并为之提供切实可行的解决方案，从而推动构建可持续性的食品生态系统。ITPO Korea期盼本次活动能够作为一个里程碑式平台，切实改善食品行业价值链上的诸多社会问题，特别是在食品、环境等其他相关领域的挑战，从而推进全行业的可持续发展。

参赛对象
“Global Call 2024”征集类别涵盖食品科技行业的各个领域。持有食品科技行业的创新技术解决方案的任意规模、国别的企业，均可申请参加相应赛道的征集活动。此外，本次征集活动鼓励女性创业者和女性研究人员参加。
获奖权益
获奖企业将获得由工发组织颁发的奖项，以及包括韩国外交部在内的各伙伴机构颁发的特别奖。此外，获奖企业还将享受以下权益：可获得工发组织及其媒体渠道提供的全球宣传机会、工发组织活动中的优质网络资源、定制化的UNIDO专家咨询顾问服务、总部提供的后续机会、以及获得在世界食品科技博览会（2024年11月20日-23日，首尔）期间，参与工发组织展台和进行创意推介的机会。
颁奖仪式将于2024年11月21日在COEX举行，地址为韩国首尔特别市江南区永东大路513号。

FOODTECH Innovation and Inclusive and Sustainable Industrial Development (ISID): Nourishing the Future
Global Call, which was launched in 2020 for the first time by the UNIDO Investment and Technology Promotion Office (ITPO) Italy, is UNIDO’s flagship annual event where companies with innovative solutions to global challenges are recognized and awarded. Last year, ITPO Beijing initiated Global Call 2023, aiming to gather innovative solutions in clean and smart energy that contributed to Inclusive and Sustainable Industrial Development. Global Call 2023 attracted 315 clean energy solutions from 60 countries across Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and Africa.
In 2024, ITPO Korea will host the Global Call 2024 under the theme "FOODTECH Innovation and Inclusive and Sustainable Industrial Development (ISID): Nourishing the Future". FoodTech refers to an industry where scientific and technological advancements such as robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and 3D printing are integrated into the entire process of the food industry, from production to consumption. Currently, the global food system is collapsing, with 780 million people suffering from hunger and one-third of the world’s food production wasted. Moreover, the current food system is exacerbating environmental pollution, producing one-third of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions.
The event aims to select companies with innovative technologies that can address issues in the global food system such as hunger and unequal distribution, thus contributing to a sustainable food system. ITPO Korea hopes that this year’s Global Call event will serve as a groundbreaking opportunity to significantly improve societal issues across the entire food industry value chain, including food, environment, and other related challenges.

The submission categories cover a wide range of the foodtech industry sectors. With innovative technology solution in foodtech, enterprises of any size or nationality are eligible to apply to the Call within each category. Applications from women-owned enterprises and female researchers are strongly encouraged.
Benefits of Global Call 2024
Winning enterprises will receive UNIDO awards or special awards from partner organizations, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea. Additionally, winning enterprises will enjoy benefits such as global promotion via UNIDO and media outlets, VIP networking at UNIDO events, tailored consultation by UNIDO experts, follow-up opportunities through the main office, and participation in the UNIDO Booth during the World FoodTech Expo (November 20-23, 2024, Seoul) along with the opportunity for idea pitching during the Expo.
The Award Ceremony will be held on 21 November, 2024 at COEX (513, Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 06164 Republic of Korea).
