中国首条会“唱歌”的公路走红,黑龙江亚雪公路打造音乐奇观
四段音乐路面奏响旋律,巧妙设计提升行车安全
A major road that plays music has gone viral. Yaxue Road, part of China's National Highway G333 and located in Heilongjiang Province, spans approximately 95.85 kilometers and now features four musical road segments.
As vehicles pass over these specially engineered sections, recognizable melodies can be heard, including Snow in Harbin, the official theme song for the 9th Asian Winter Games. The musical effect is achieved through a precise construction process.
The technology involves converting musical compositions into simulation files, then designing groove spacing based on specific frequencies to generate continuous sound waves—similar to how vinyl records store audio. These grooves are carved into the pavement and coated with bright markings.
The system works like a phonograph: the road surface acts as the record, and the vehicle’s tires serve as the needle. As the tires roll over the grooved patterns, they produce vibrations that resonate as music.
Crucially, the music is only audible when vehicles travel at the optimal speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour. This resonance-based design encourages drivers to maintain safe speeds, contributing to improved traffic safety.
