WHY JOIN US
The ICWMM brings together professionals from around the world to exchange ideas on current practices and emerging technologies in water management. Emphasis is on state-of-the-art computer modeling for resolving water quantity and quality problems in stormwater, wastewater, watershed and water distribution systems.
Presentations are of a very high standard and the atmosphere is informal and relaxed. And, by accepting abstracts up until the last minute, a spontaneity is achieved which gives the conference its special character.
Effectively the 50th SWMM users group meeting, this is the 37th meeting to be held in Canada, and the 26th in Toronto.
WHO ATTENDS
Inherently multi-disciplinary, the ICWMM is designed for any who have a direct stake in stormwater management, non-point source pollution or urban water systems.
ATTENDEES ARE OFTEN:
•Civil and environmental engineers, landscape engineers and architects
•Aquatic biologists, ecologists, fluvial geomorphologists, urban geographers and other scientists
•Municipal and government policy makers, engineering professionals, public works personnel and consultants
