QT(Quick Test) is an automatic single station acceptance tool designed and developed by Boden. It can greatly improve the efficiency of single station acceptance. Currently, due to the complex process for single station acceptance for NPO project in Yinda Philippines, the project progress is quite slow. Boden is advancing the deployment of QT in the Philippines. However, as QT is mainly designed based on domestic testing process and report template, it may not well adapt to the special operation environment in the Philippines. In early August,I was assigned to Philippines to learn acceptance process and requirement, and collect the requirements for modifications.
The first problem I encountered after arriving in the Philippines was communication. Since I’m not so good at speaking English, I used my body language, drawing and translation software for communication. Even by doing that, it was until the second week that I can basically communicate with local colleagues smoothly.
With this problem solved, we started to make some progress in our key task. Singlestation acceptance process in the Philippines was extremely complicated, inaddition, the planning, analysis and report exportation is performed in Pasig,Manila, yet the stations are built in Davao City and Visayas Island. Therefore,the promotion of QT in the Philippines requires modification and improvement according to local conditions.
When I was in Makati, Manila, I learned about the current situation of the project from Sun Huawu, the country manager of the Philippines, and GIN, the manager of NPO. Three days later, I arrived in Davao to eat, live with the engineers and did test together, and learned the test process and where we need to improve. Two weeks later, I went back to the Pasig City, Manila, where the regional support center office is located, to understand the process of report output and analysis, and then met with relevant personnel to discuss the project issues,feedback the site situation and give suggestions from the perspective of optimization, and get to know some other items where the tool can be applied.
After I returned to Shanghai from the Philippines, based on the site test requirement and issues in the Philippines, from the perspective of optimization, company leaders and I worked out a test process which can give full play to the advantages of QT. After that, together with Sun Huawu, GIN, we made several modifications and improved the test process, and finalized the new test process.Based on the new process, Boden estimated relevant work load of R&D and properly arranged development plan for the new software.

Accelerating the deployment of QT in the Philippines market is an important signal of Boden's accelerated pace of “going out”. The purpose is to better serve customers from Southeast asia, promote the internationalization process more quickly and boost the development of overseas business and unleash the advantages of company. After the task is successfully completed, I was more than excited and proud!
