Scan-Rescan repeatability of axon diameter mapping metrics from ultra-high-gradient diffusion MRI on the Connectome 2.0 scanner

This research enhances the understanding of diffusion-MRI metrics' reliability, enabling more accurate studies of brain microstructure. It supports further investigation into neurobiological differences across populations and potential clinical applications.
Voxel-wise diffusion metric estimates from scan and rescan sessions are shown, combining all white matter voxels across all subjects. Each plot displays the Pearson correlation coefficient (r) and absolute deviation (Abs. Dev.), with the unity line highlighted in pink.
Checkerboard plots for each of the five subjects show averaged interleaved b=0 images.
