Recently, the Ministry of Commerce issued Announcement No. 46 of 2025, deciding that, effective September 10, 2025, provisional anti-dumping measures would be imposed on imports of certain pork and pork by-products originating in the European Union. The announcement also specified the product scope and corresponding deposit rates for the provisional measures.
In accordance with the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Anti-dumping, and to implement the above-mentioned provisional measures, the following requirements on commodity code declaration are hereby announced:
When declaring imports of the relevant pork and pork by-products, consignees of imported goods or their agents shall fill in the commodity codes as follows:
For “Stomachs of swine, whole or in pieces” under tariff heading 05040029, the commodity code shall be declared as 05040029.10;
For “Intestines and bladders of swine, whole or in pieces” under tariff heading 05040090, the commodity code shall be declared as 05040090.10.
This Announcement shall enter into force on September 10, 2025.
