近日，泉州市在2025首届文旅短剧大荟发布的《文旅短剧活力城市指数》年度报告（2025）中获得两项荣誉：入选指数典型实践样本、泉州百崎两岸影视产业园入选“年度创作示范基地”，成为全国少数同时收获城市与园区两类荣誉的地区之一，彰显泉州“文旅+短剧”融合发展的强劲实力与完善的产业生态。
据介绍，此次荣誉的认定，源于泉州市文旅短剧创作的丰硕成果与产业转化的突出成效。2025年，泉州有《人间办事处》《一碗泉州之姜母鸭》等7部作品入选国家广电总局“跟着微短剧去旅行”推荐剧目，数量居全国地级市前列，其中《期许之地》更是斩获海峡两岸WE短剧大赛提名奖。通过“跟着微短剧去旅行”计划与非遗活化创作，相关作品带动蟳埔村、梧林古村等景点客流增长超150%，实现文化传播与消费转化双丰收。下一步，泉州市将以此为契机，深度参与“跟着微短剧去旅行”“食泉食美”计划，推动更多世遗元素与短剧创作融合，让泉州故事通过小屏幕走向全国。

Annual Report on Cultural Tourism Short Drama Vitality City Index (2025) Released: Quanzhou Named a Model City for Best Practices
Recently, Quanzhou City received two major recognitions in the Annual Report on Cultural Tourism Short Drama Vitality City Index (2025), unveiled at the 2025 Inaugural Cultural Tourism Short Drama Summit. The city was selected as a Model City for Best Practices under the index, while the Quanzhou Baiqi Cross-Strait Film and Television Industrial Park was named an "Annual Creative Demonstration Base." This dual recognition places Quanzhou among a small number of regions nationwide to receive honors at both the city and industrial park levels, highlighting the robust momentum and well-developed ecosystem of its integrated "cultural tourism and mini series" model.
The recognition is rooted in Quanzhou's substantial achievements in cultural tourism short drama creation and effective industrial conversion. In 2025, seven works from Quanzhou, including Ren Jian Ban Shi Chu (The Mortal Affairs Bureau) and Yi Wan Quan Zhou Zhi Jiang Mu Ya (A Bowl of Quanzhou: Ginger Duck), were included in the National Radio and Television Administration's "Travel with Mini Series" recommended list, ranking Quanzhou among the leading prefecture-level cities in China. Notably, Qi Xv Zhi Di (The Promised Land) received a nomination award at the Cross-Strait WE Short Drama Competition.
Through initiatives such as the "Travel with Mini Series" program and creative projects revitalizing intangible cultural heritage, related productions have driven tourist visits to locations such as Xunpu Village and Wulin Ancient Village to increase by more than 150 percent, achieving strong results in both cultural dissemination and economic returns. Building on this momentum, Quanzhou plans to further participate in initiatives like "Travel with Mini Series" and "Shi Quan Shi Mei (Savor Quanzhou)," integrating more elements from its World Heritage sites into short drama production to bring Quanzhou's stories to audiences across China.

On January 2, the cultural tourism-themed children's mini series project Wan "Jv" Lin Chuan (Play in Linchuan) was launched in Linchuan Town, Rui'an City, Zhejiang Province. Recently, the high-quality costume mini series Xi Jing Fu Fu Sha Si Fang (The performative Couple Takes on All Challenges) officially began filming in Hengdian. The series is produced by Zhou Yancheng as chief producer and is adapted from the popular Tomato Novel Bo Fu Mou Cai You Hai Ming, Bi Xia Cheng Yao Sha Si Fang (Scheming for Wealth and Lives in the Bo's House, with the Emperor's Support to Defeat All Enemies). This project marks Zhou Yancheng's first entry into the short drama sector, underscoring his team's long-term strategic vision amid the explosive growth of the short-form drama market.
As a veteran producer who has previously led long-form dramas such as Jie Mei Xiong Di (Two Families) and Shan Hai Jing Zhi Chi Ying Chuan Shuo (The Classic of Mountains and Seas: The Red Shadow Legend), Zhou Yancheng brings years of industry experience and a keen grasp of market trends. This time, he chose a costume drama theme for two main reasons. On the one hand, costume dramas are well suited to expressing the unique texture and poetic sensibility of Eastern aesthetics. On the other hand, the story uses a fantastical soul-exchange premise, creating strong contrasts to deliver both emotional gratification and a sweet romantic tone, thereby greatly enhancing dramatic tension. Xi Jing Fu Fu Sha Si Fang adheres to a "quality-first" creative goal, with a strong focus on vertical-screen visual aesthetics, deeper narrative development, and careful content refinement. It avoids excessive commercial compromise and stays true to the creators' original artistic vision. Amid the industry-wide push toward higher-quality short dramas, this work is expected to break through formulaic limitations with high-quality content and inject fresh vitality into the costume short drama arena.
