The 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) is scheduled to take place in mid-September in Beijing. As the guest country of honor of the 2024 CIFTIS, how France present its national pavilion is certain to be a topic of public interest. During an exclusive interview event held on May 21 focusing on France as the guest country of honor of the 2024 CIFTIS, Pascal Gondrand, commercial investment counselor of the French Embassy in China, provided a preview of the planning, design, and highlights of the France Pavilion.
Pascal Gondrand revealed that the 2024 CIFTIS will feature a distinctively crafted France Pavilion, assembling ten enterprise exhibitors, including major corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises, to showcase France's diverse offerings across industries such as health, sports, and tourism, and to promote the appeal of France. Additionally, a variety of activities will be organized around three themes, including Sino-French Medical Days, Sports Theme Days, and events for promoting France's economic attractiveness and investment. Each of these events is expected to draw 100 to 300 participants, aiming to promote exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and French enterprises.
The France Pavilion will embody creativity and elegance in its design, representing the cultural characteristics of France. For example, the entrance will feature a replica of the Arc de Triomphe, with the Pont de Bir-Hakeim-inspired arches within the pavilion, promising a visually stunning effect. Inside the pavilion, there will be a reception area, a communication area, a conference area, and a display area. The communication area will be equipped with bar facilities. Six workstations will also be available for on-site demonstrations, consultations, and other interactive activities.
The France Pavilion will unveil its communication concept around the "Choose France" campaign. Ground and vertical displays will be positioned at the entrance and the reception area to play theme-specific images and videos, highlighting France's cultural heritage, beautiful scenery, major sports events, and associated French brand imagery.
Pascal Gondrand extends a warm welcome to guests from all sectors to visit the France Pavilion during the 2024 CIFTIS, jointly promoting France-China exchanges and cooperation in the field of trade in services.
