In the evening, July 29th,the world's largest power Shen-24 electric locomotive, jointly developed by CRRC and State Energy Group, has been rolled off the production line in CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co., Ltd.
With the unit power 28800 kilowatts, single engine traction 2280 kn, it once again broke the world record for rail equipment.
This is a major breakthrough in railway heavy load technology innovation in China.
It is also a major achievement of independent innovation in China's equipment manufacturing industry.
Several distinguished officers from railway and energy industry authority and governmental bodies attended the ceremony.
The attending officers boarded the locomotive for a trial experience.
Shen-24 electric locomotive is in 6-car configuration and 106 meters in terms of length.It is equipped with 16 technological innovations.It has pioneered the world's largest single power and single traction force, and its maximum operating speed is 120 km/h.
It will run on the Shenshuo Railline of the National Energy Group to improve the transport efficiency of China's energy arteries, and meet the strategic demand for heavy-haul transport, intelligent guidance and green environmental protection
