Overview of the post
The Department of Mathematics of the University of Pisa, within the “Department of Excellence” funding framework, launches a call for expression of interest to identify candidates at all levels with outstanding scientific expertise in the fields of
mathematics of machine learning and data science, high dimensional statistics;
mathematics and modeling of complex phenomena in physical and life sciences.
Appointments can be at Tenure Track Researcher, Associate or Full
Professor level, depending on the seniority of the profile.
Qualification requirements
We welcome applications in all areas of mathematics, including numerical analysis, with expertise in one or more subjects among machine learning, data science, data assimilation, model order reduction, high dimensional statistics, complex networks and applications to the modeling of physical phenomena and life sciences.
