Introduction of the research group: 

Asset Management and Optimization Research Group at the School of Mechanical, Medical and Process Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Queensland University of Technology (QUT), has broad research topics in a number of engineering disciplines related to dynamic systems, reliability, and applied optimisation. 

Dr Michael Cholette is the leader of the group and research areas include as follows:

• Asset management, 

• Reliability modelling, 

• Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM)

• Maintenance optimisation

Job description for PhD students:

• Students will obtain a PhD degree from the School of Mechanical, Medical and Process Engineering, Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia.

• Have basic knowledge of reliability modelling and maintenance optimization.

• Language requirement: same as the QUT requirement.

• We also welcome visiting PhD students (such as CSC scholars).

• CSC Scholarships (only open to Chinese nationals).

• Industrial scholarships (Depending on the project each year).

• QUT Scholarships.
