Their core solution, the Scenario Analysis Interface for Energy Systems (SAInt), is an integrated modeling platform that supports system expansion, operations, and market optimization, along with simulations for electric, gas, and thermal networks. SAInt enables utility planners and engineers to integrate planning across electric generation, transmission, and distribution with seamless transitions between different types of simulations and optimizations. encoord serves a global customer base, including electric and gas utilities, system and market operators, and asset developers.
Role Overview
As a Power System Optimization Modeler at encoord, you will be a part of the Product Team, working closely with the Software Development Team. Your responsibilities will include supporting the design, development, and maintenance of energy system models with a focus on power system optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain energy system models.
Focus on power system optimization and integration of mathematical optimization models.
Collaborate with engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders within the company.
Contribute to the overall enhancement of SAInt’s platform.

岗位要求
The ideal candidate will have:
A Master's or Ph.D. in electric power systems, operations research, or a related field.
Strong knowledge and experience in mathematical optimization, including linear and integer programming.
A basic understanding of energy market design and operation, including long-term, day-ahead, and intraday markets.
Familiarity with capacity expansion modeling (a plus).
Aptitude for software development and familiarity with object-oriented design.
Strong analytical skills, creative thinking, and the ability to understand and communicate complex concepts.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
