About this position
The Discrete Mathematics team of ULiège (Belgium) offers one postdoc position under the supervision of Manon Stipulanti on interactions between combinatorics on words, numeration systems, number theory, and automata and formal language theory. The position is part of an FNRS project MIS titled "An in-depth study of regular sequences as a (discrete) bridge between combinatorics on words and abstract numeration systems".
The postdoctoral position has a flexible starting date, but preferably before October 2025, and the intended duration is 1 to 3 years (it starts with 1 year and is then potentially renewable after evaluation; in total, it might last 3 years).
