About this position
We are pleased to announce a Postdoctoral Associate position in Management Science at the Ivey Business School, Western University, starting from Fall 2025. This role offers a unique research opportunity to address pressing challenges within the Canadian healthcare system, allowing successful candidates to contribute to meaningful and policy-relevant work.
The postdoctoral associate position prioritizes research. We seek individuals with research experience in management science, operations research, economics, and operations management. Potential research topics include incentive design, congestion modeling, principal-agent framework, optimization, queuing analysis, simulation, and machine learning. The successful candidate will work closely with Dr. Mehmet A. Begen and Dr. Prashant Chintapalli in the Management Science Area Group at Ivey.

Requirement
Completion of a Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as operations research, engineering, economics, mathematics, or computer science.
Strong expertise in multiple research methods, including theoretical mathematical research, empirical data collection, and interpretation.
Background in mathematics, optimization, coding, and economic modeling.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Commitment to a 12-month appointment with a possibility of extension.
