Tai Chi is a cultural treasure.
Embodying the principle of moderation, balance,
introspection and self-reflection,
it reveals the eastern ways of life
through fluid yet powerful movements.
Passed down through generations in China as a health practice,
while crossing borders as well,
it has become a starting point to understand Chinese culture.
In Shenzhen, there is an increasing number of international friends
exploring the balance of life through Tai Chi.
The themed cultural experience,
"Tai Chi Experience: The Fusion of Philosophy and Practice"
will be held on September 20.
You are cordially invited to attend the session
to be engaged with the eastern philosophy
through the motions of Tai Chi.
【Tai Chi Master】
Zhao Tianyi — 12th-generation Chen-style Tai Chi inheritor,
6th Duan in Chinese Martial Arts and multiple-time national champion.
He is also Deputy Secretary-General of Shenzhen Wushu Association
and an official inheritor of Chen-style Tai Chi
(Chen Zhenglei lineage).
Through his explanation and demonstration,
participants will appreciate the heritage of
traditional Chinese culture and philosophy.
Features of Chen-style Tai Chi
As the origin of Tai Chi from Chenjiagou, Wen County, Henan,
the practice is centered in Silk-Reeling Energy,
and demonstrates the philosophy of Yin-Yang harmony.
