About “Meet The World Around ” Series Events

为助力深圳开展国际化街区建设、国际化城市建设，基金会依托自身品牌内容承办或发起了以“国际化在身边”为主题的系列展览和活动，将“共建、共治、共享”的国际化点滴，通过多种形式展现给中外市民，让大家成为深圳的国际化建设进程中的“共创者”和“代言人”。

其中，在“国际化在身边”系列社群活动下，基金会联合各行各业的顶尖合作伙伴，为在深中外市民带来语言学习、文化鉴赏、运动体验等轻松有趣的活动，打造多元文化交流、融合的国际化氛围。

In order to promote the construction of international city of Shenzhen, SFIEC has launched a series of brand events in the name of “Meet The World Around”. By doing so, we hope everyone can feel that you are also a “co-creator” and "Spokesperson" in the process of Shenzhen’s internationalization construction.

Through “Meet The World Around” SFIEC Global Friendship Community events, we, together with top partners from all walks of life, brings language learning, cultural appreciation, sports experience, and other fun activities to expats and domestic citizens in Shenzhen, and creates an international atmosphere of multicultural exchange and integration.

BOUND SHENZHEN 

为帮助在深外国居民，了解深圳、融入深圳，参与深圳的国际化进程，基金会发布了“国际化在身边-深圳联结项目”，鼓励有组织跨文化社群活动经验的民间团体及个人，申请基金会项目资助，并与基金会一起让更多的社会主体，参与多元的国际化社群活动。

自启动以来，基金会联合各方合作伙伴，为在深中外市民带来了各类轻松有趣的活动，我们也结识了来自不同国家及地区致力中外交流的朋友。

"City Plus-Bound Shenzhen" is an initiative aiming at helping foreign residents in Shenzhen understand the city, integrate into its vibrant culture, andparticipate in its exciting internationalization process.

To make “City Plus-Bound Shenzhen” a success,we are calling on NGOs and individuals with experience in organizing cross-cultural community activities to apply for the funding, and together encourage more social entities to participate in diversified international community activities!

Since its launch, we have had the incredible opportunity to work with partners to bring a variety of relaxing and interesting activities to Chinese and foreign citizens in Shenzhen.

We've also had the chance to meet friends from different countries and regions who are passionate about Sino-foreign exchanges!

深圳光影艺术季作为深圳特色夜间经济品牌活动，每年确定不同的主题，活动时间横跨12月至次年2月，地点覆盖全市各区公共空间、商圈、街区、景区等场所，围绕光影艺术作品展、光影配套活动、商业联动活动三个圈层展开，展现来自多个国家及地区的光影艺术作品，举办作品征集、作品评奖、光影论坛、光影欢乐购、光影嘉年华、摄影大赛、媒体推介等丰富多彩的主题艺术活动。

The Glow Shenzhen Light and Shadow Art Festival, a signature nighttime economic event in Shenzhen, adopts a unique theme each year. Spanning from December to February of the following year, the festival takes place across public spaces, commercial hubs, neighborhoods, and scenic areas throughout the city. It revolves around three core elements: light and shadow art exhibitions, supporting activities, and commercial collaborations. Showcasing light art pieces from various countries and regions, the festival hosts a wide array of themed activities, including artwork submissions, awards, forums, festive shopping events, carnivals, photography contests, and media promotions.

深圳光影艺术季不仅增强了市民群众的获得感、幸福感、生活感，同时提升了深圳城市魅力和国际影响力，助力打造了国际一流的光影艺术品牌和光影之都城市名片。

The Glow Shenzhen Light and Shadow Art Festival not only enhances residents' sense of fulfillment, happiness, and quality of life but also elevates Shenzhen's urban charm and international influence. It contributes to establishing a world-class light art brand and solidifying the city's reputation as a global hub for light and shadow art.

2024年深圳光影艺术季以“光景无限”为主题，采用“1+n”的模式，即1个主活动地点（深业上城及周边公园）+29个活动地点，展出来自多个国家及地区共76组209件光影艺术作品，举办46场主题艺术活动。

The 2024 Glow Shenzhen Light and Shadow Art Festival, themed "Infinite Illumination", adopts a "1+n" model: one main venue (UpperHills and its surrounding parks) plus 29 additional locations. The festival features 76 sets of 209 light art pieces from various countries and regions, along with 46 themed art events.

本届光影艺术季福田主活动场地落座于深业上城及周边公园，市民们将循着“城市的回响”“自然的启示”和“光语的再织”三大篇章的逻辑脉络，通过1500米游览路线上的20多件艺术装置，逐一揭开光影艺术作品的神秘面纱。

The main venue in Futian, located at UpperHills and nearby parks, guides visitors through three thematic chapters—"Echoes of the City," "Nature's Inspiration," and "Reweaving the Language of Light." Along a 1,500-meter route, more than 20 art installations reveal the captivating mysteries of light and shadow art.
