COVER STORY: Along the sun-drenched shoreline where waves dance with the rhythm of the ocean. Scattered across beach are numerous stones symbolizing over 1,600 distinct small molecules. Much like prospectors panning for gold in a riverbed, four optimized culture systems—LAY, LADY, LUDY, and LKPY—have been identified. Among these, cells cultured in the LAY system exhibit enhanced genomic stability. This research significantly advances the robust induction and long-term maintenance of naïve pluripotency, offering crucial insights for the future application of naïve hPSCs in therapeutic and regenerative contexts.
