RMB Currency Futures hit new record

HKEX’s RMB Currency Futures contracts continue to set new records as the currency remains volatile. Turnover of the contracts hit 7,711 today (US$771 million notional), the second highest ever. It’s also the fourth consecutive trading day that more than 6,000 contracts were traded. Open interest all set an all-time record of 32,009 contracts (US$3.2 billion notional) as of 5 February.
