HKEx held its Annual General Meeting today at the Exchange Auditorium in Hong Kong. Chairman C K Chow presided over the meeting, which saw Mr Chan Tze Ching and Mr John Williamson re-elected as HKEx directors, while Dr Fred Hu Zuliu was elected for the first time to the board.
Chairman Chow also welcomed government-appointed directors Ms Anita Fung and Mr Rafael Gil-Tienda. Ms Fung and Mr Gil-Tienda bring a wide range of knowledge in business and financial services which will benefit the future development of HKEx.
Chairman Chow also thanked Mr Stephen Hui and Mr Michael Lee for their dedicated service as directors of the company over the past six years. Both of them have made significant contributions to HKEx’s success.
