The cross-border trading and clearing scheme, which started with Shanghai Connect in 2014, has grown over the years to include Shenzhen Connect and Bond Connect. The Connect programme is now an integral part of the Hong Kong market, with trading volume continuing to grow as more Mainland and international investors use the scheme to diversify their portfolios.
