Alibaba Group (9988) – the largest new listing in the world so far this year – has come home! Hundreds of guests and media friends joined us to welcome Alibaba at HKEX Connect Hall this morning, the first Chinese e-commerce company to be listed in both Hong Kong and New York.

2. Alibaba Derivative Warrants
Issuers can now list derivative warrants on Alibaba shares that they are listed on HKEX’s securities market.
3. Inclusion of Alibaba Shares in Designated Securities for Short Selling
Alibaba shares are now also included in HKEX’s designated securities eligible for short selling.
