HKEX will co-host the 7th China Pharmaceutical Innovation and Investment Conference in Suzhou between 29 and 31 March. Featuring members from the biotech and healthcare community, the conference will focus on several hot topics that have gripped the imagination of the sector, including the digitalisation of the pharmaceutical sector and innovative services in the capital market.
2023 is a crucial year for the pharmaceutical industry as it adapts to rapid market transformations in the wake of the pandemic. In this fast changing environment, Hong Kong continues to play an important role as a superconnector and an international financial centre, supporting the fundraising needs of biotech and healthcare companies and connecting biotech innovations in the Mainland with global capital.

HKEX Chief Executive Officer Nicolas Aguzin will deliver welcome remarks at the opening ceremony on 29 March.
Co-Chief Operating Officer & Head of Equities Wilfred Yiu will join a panel discussion on the main forum with industry leaders to discuss new investment and financing opportunities and trends in the global pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
