The “Klostergut” has been founded by “The Order of Saint Clare” located at the bank of the Rhine not far from Schaffhausen/Switzerland and served being a convent all those centuries, till GF acquired the manor 100 years ago.

This meaningful cultural monument has always been treasured by GF at its best. In 1948 not only has the entire building been restored, it also was the year, when the world renowned collection of casting related publications “Eisenbibliothek” (the iron-library) was founded.
