苹果公司日前发布iPhone最新版操作系统iOS15.4，其中最大的新功能之一就是能让用户在戴口罩的情况下解锁 Face ID。疫情期间，用户戴着口罩解锁iPhone或者使用 Apple Pay非常困难，必须手动输入密码或将口罩拉到下巴下方。但是随着iOS 15.4的更新，那样的日子已经过去了。

iOS 15.4, the latest update to Apple's iPhone software, is here and one of the biggest new features is the ability to use Face ID with a mask on. If you've ever tried to unlock your iPhone or use Apple Pay with a mask on, you know that it's pretty much impossible. Usually, you have to either manually type in your passcode or pull your mask down under your chin -- but those days are over.

As long as you have an iPhone 12 or later running iOS 15.4, you can easily go into your phone's settings and toggle on the new setting, which uses the features around your eyes to authenticate that it's really you, even with a mask on.

Ford announced Monday that it will launch three new electric passenger vehicles and four new electric commercial vehicles in Europe over the next two years. The company also said it plans to sell more than 600,000 EVs annually in Europe by 2026 to support its 2035 deadline to go carbon neutral “across its European footprint of facilities, logistics and suppliers.”

These milestones are the latest in a recent string of announcements from the Dearborn automaker. Earlier in March, Ford said it will invest $50 billion, an increase over the previously stated $30 billion, toward its global goal to produce 2 million EVs annually by 2026.

Holoride announced Saturday at the SXSW tech, music and film conference in Austin that its headset-based virtual-reality entertainment system will debut in June in certain Audi models with the latest MIB 3 software. The announcement is a milestone for the startup that spun out of Audi several years ago; it also signals an increasing interest among automakers to find new ways to capture the attention of consumers.

The Holoride system intertwines backseat passengers’ physical world with augmented reality for a motion-synchronized journey as the car moves along. The system is brand-agnostic, which means other automakers can support it, too.
