尚律师主要执业于知识产权领域，包括专利申请、战略组合开发和客户咨询。尚律师准备并申请的专利申请涉及广泛的技术领域，包括人工智能、机器学习、区块链、云计算、分布式文件系统、存储系统、社交媒体和互联网通信。

在获得圣克拉拉大学法学院的法学博士学位之前，尚律师在EMC与储存文件系统团队，以及在谷歌与云平台团队设计和开发了多项复杂的技术发明。尚律师拥有计算机工程学博士学位，曾于会议及期刊出版物上发表了多篇文章，涵盖大规模数据管理、云、数据库、文件/储存系统、机器学习、节能和高性能计算等研究领域。

PJ practices in a variety of intellectual property areas, including patent prosecution, strategic portfolio development, and client counseling.  With his academic and industrial experience, PJ prepares and prosecutes patent applications covering a wide range of technology fields, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, cloud computing, distributed filesystem, storage system, social media, and Internet communication.

Prior to receiving his Juris Doctorate from the Santa Clara University School of Law, PJ designed and developed complex technical inventions at Google with cloud/platform team and EMC with storage filesystem team.  As an inventor, PJ received numerous granted patents from United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).  PJ’s academic background includes a Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Central Florida. PJ authored conference publications and journal publications covering research fields including large-scale data management, cloud, database, file/storage system, machine learning, power-efficient and high-performance computing.

黄律师拥有材料学博士学位，主要研究方向是光电器件和相关半导体技术。

Charles' practice focuses on patent prosecution and enforcement. He prepares and prosecutes hundreds of patent applications in the areas of semiconductors, LEDs, displays, wireless communications, robotics, software, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and optical devices. He also participates in litigation in district courts and at the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), and in proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Charles counsels clients on portfolio management, due diligence and patent invalidity and infringement issues.

Charles obtained his Ph.D. in materials science, with a particular focus on optoelectronic devices and related semiconductor technologies. He is particularly knowledgeable regarding the interpretation of analytical results obtained from instruments employed in materials science research.

崔国斌，清华大学法学院副教授、知识产权法研究中心主任。曾任清华法学院副院长 (2016.7-2019.7)，主管外事与科研事务。崔教授从北京大学获得法学博士学位、法学硕士学位和理科学士（应用化学）学位，并从美国耶鲁大学获得他的第二个法学硕士学位。

Cui Guobin is the Associate Professor as well as Director of the Center for Intellectual Property at Tsinghua University Law School. He was the Associate Dean for International Affairs and Academics (2016.7-2019.7). Professor Cui earned his Ph.D. in law, LL.M., and B.Sc. in Chemistry from Peking University, and his second LL.M. from Yale Law School.

丁律师是微软中国研发团队的法律顾问，她在多个法律领域提供咨询，包括技术交易中复杂的知识产权问题，知识产权及数据许可和交易，版权和商标保护，技术出口，数据隐私等。

加入微软前，丁律师曾在中国顶尖的律师事务所、汽车和信息通讯技术领域的跨国公司担任专利律师十年。丁律师具有丰富的专利申请、申请策略构建、专利组合管理的经验，并在中国、美国、英国、荷兰、意大利、西班牙等多个司法管辖区拥有专利诉讼管理经验。

丁律师毕业于大连理工大学机械工程专业，并在波士顿大学获得知识产权法学硕士学位(LLM)。

Qian is a legal counsel advising Microsoft China R&D teams in a variety of law areas, including complex intellectual property issues in technology deals, IP and data license and transactions, copyright and trademark protection, technology export, data privacy, etc.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Qian worked as a patent lawyer in past 10 years at top Chinese law firms and multinational companies in automobile and ICT sectors. Qian has extensive patent experience from patent prosecution, patent filing strategy building, patent portfolio management to patent litigation management across various jurisdictions, including China, US, UK, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, etc.  

Qian received her bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering and Japanese from Dalian University of Technology and received her master’s degree in law (LLM) from Boston University with a focus on intellectual property.

在加入微软之前的十三年里，丽文曾担任西门子有限公司中国知识产权部的首席知识产权法律顾问。她曾协助建立西门子不同业务部门和企业研究中心的知识产权和法律顾问团队，包括西门子通信网络和设备、西门子VDO汽车和西门子公司技术。

加入西门子之前，丽文是一家创业公司的工程师，该公司致力于研发全新的4G无线通信标准的无线基带和无线电接口技术。

CELA IPG China patent team is a close partner of Microsoft research and engineering teams in Asia-Pacific region, supporting R&D activities from idea harvesting to patent filing and prosecuting, as well as creating business opportunities by various IP programs, such as Microsoft Azure IP Advantage program.

In the past 13 years before joining Microsoft, Liwen served as a lead IP counsel in IP department of Siemens Ltd. China. She had the opportunity to help build up the team and counsel on IP matters for diverse Siemens business units and corporate research center, including Siemens Communication networks and devices, Siemens VDO Automotive, and Siemens Corporate Technology.

Before Siemens, Liwen was an engineer in a start-up company pioneering in research and development of wireless baseband and radio interface technologies of a brand-new wireless communication standard for 4G. 

朱律师在美团负责人工智能团队的专利工作和相关创新工作。曾多次参与针对相关课题的讨论和研究，著有论文《人工智能领域技术的可专利性研究》。

Zhonghua is responsible for the patent and related innovation field of the AI team in Meituan. He has participated in the discussion and research of the related topics for various times, and has written the paper "Research on the Patentability of Technology in the Field of Artificial Intelligence".

陈律师在帮助硅谷和中国的高科技公司建立全面的专利组合、制定国际专利战略、评估，避免及应对知识产权侵权威胁、专利局的双方复审程序（IPR）、专利诉讼、国际技术许可、公司并购中的知识产权资产交易谈判方面拥有丰富的经验。陈律师著有《美国专利诉讼——规则、判例与实务》一书，由知识产权出版社出版。

陈律师从清华大学获得工程和法律双学士学位，美国东北大学获得电子及计算机硕士学位，美国富兰克林皮尔斯法学院获得知识产权法硕士学位。

Will has extensive experience in helping high-tech companies in Silicon Valley and China on building comprehensive patent portfolios and developing sophisticated international patent strategies, assessing, avoiding and responding to third-party IP threats, inter partes reviews (IPRs) and reexaminations at the patent office, district court patent litigation, in-bound and out-bound technology licensing, and negotiating IP asset transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and the like.  In working with high-tech companies, he has developed in-depth knowledge in a range of industries including software, artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, telecommunications, networking, electronic circuitry, semiconductor, MEMS, and medical devices.
