Mo Gaoyi, member of the Standing Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, pointed out with regard to "strengthening new cultural business formats and promoting high-quality development of the cultural industry" that we must provide excellent services by vigorously creating a good business environment, conducting specialized research on policies and measures for the management and support of cultural enterprises with new business formats, doing a good job in building demonstration bases featuring the integration of culture and technology, and actively building intelligent parks. We must carry out empowerment efforts by accelerating the implementation of the digitalization strategy of the cultural industry, and taking the lead in promoting digital content to be the main support for the cultural industry, and digital communication to be the main channel for cultural communication. We must strengthen the role of main players by focusing on cultivating leading cultural enterprises, promoting municipal state-owned cultural enterprises to actively integrate into the development trend of the digital economy, and building core competitiveness with a focus on their primary cultural responsibilities and core cultural businesses. We must promote consumption by deepening the supply-side structural reform in the cultural sector, and seizing the opportunity of building the city into an international consumption center, and doing a good job in the "culture +" undertaking.
