More CIFTIS cultural and creative products expected

Beijing Gongmei Group has always been responsible for the design and production of state-level gifts and medals. It has repeatedly made significant contributions to the major affairs of the Party and the country, and is known as "the manufacturer of state gifts". At the 2022 CIFTIS Global Trade in Services Summit and relevant conferences, the CIFTIS commemorative badges and masks worn by participants attracted a lot of attention, and they all came from Beijing Gongmei Group.

During an event of Post-2022 CIFTIS Exhibitor Group Interview series held recently, Wang Qian, Assistant General Manager of Beijing Gongmei Culture and Creativity Co., Ltd., shared with the media the story of the group's participation in 2022 CIFTIS.

Through open selection, Beijing Gongmei Group obtained the qualification as a franchisee of the CIFTIS based on its rich experience in franchise operations. During the 2022 CIFTIS, Beijing Gongmei Group set up four booths in the "CIFTIS Franchised Commodity Store" in the China National Convention Center (Phase I), and the time-honored brand exhibition area outside Halls 1, 13, and 15 in Shougang Park. A variety of IP-derived cultural and creative products such as CIFTIS cultural and creative products, licensed products of Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games and Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, "Gongmei Hand-made" state gifts were displayed and sold, attracting many attendees.

It is reported that during this year's CIFTIS, over 10,000 visitors appeared at Beijing Gongmei Group's booths, with more than 2,000 transactions made. "Bing Dwen Dwen" remains to be the secret to boost online traffic, and the mascots of Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 "Congcong," "Chenchen," and "Lianlian" are also hot sellers. Wang Qian said that the participation in the CIFTIS not only enhanced the brand image of Gongmei, but also increased the exchanges and cooperation between Gongmei and top companies at home and abroad. This provided the group a valuable opportunity to enrich itself in both sales channel expansion and brand product design and development.

As a cooperative supplier of the CIFTIS for three consecutive years, Beijing Gongmei Group once again took on the task of designing and producing official commemorative badges and masks for the event during the 2022 CIFTIS.

There are two types of commemorative badges for this year's CIFTIS. One is a golden commemorative badge, which reflects the solemnity, authority, quality and level of the fair. The other is a customized "rotatable badge" based on the classic design of the golden one. It is reported that this badge has two layers, of which the bottom layer is designed to be rotatable, and the surface layer uses a combination of bright and matte plating with enamel-like craftsmanship, ensuring the overall color and texture of the gradient LOGO. The overall pattern symbolizes global connectivity, mutual benefit and interconnection, echoing the permanent slogan of the CIFTIS - "Global Services, Shared Prosperity", and highlighting the design concept of being young and lively.

On the basis of the continuation of the previous two mask designs, changes are made to the official masks of this year's CIFTIS. The orange area is slightly reduced, while the blank space is increased, making the mask more simple and beautiful. In terms of graphic design, the core graphic of the fair is adopted, and the color is split by the wave-shaped water ripple to create the artistic conception as the blank space in the ink painting, and try to show the vitality of China to the world through these masks.

Referring to the expectations for 2023 CIFTIS, Wang said that in 2023, Beijing Gongmei Group will continue to design and produce official supplies for the fair. In addition to official commemorative badges and masks, the group will explore the production of more cultural and creative products related to the CIFTIS, and make continuous efforts in the design of products such as the fair's mascot. At the same time, it hopes to further enhance its brand influence, find creative partners and achieve win-win cooperation with the help of the CIFTIS.
