CIFTIS Promotion Event for ICT & Environmental Services & CEATEC Spring Reception Meeting being held

On March 17, the 2023 CIFTIS Promotion Event for ICT & Environmental Services & CEATEC Spring Reception Meeting were held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. The events were attended by nearly 400 people, including the heads of CIFTIS’ organizers and its thematic exhibitions, the embassies in China and their government agencies from Moldova, Azerbaijan, Belgium, and Germany, the subordinate organizations under the Ministry of Commerce, and business associations, scientific research institutes, along with some CIFTIS exhibitors.

At the events, Zhou Ling, Deputy Director of Beijing International Trade in Services Center, said that up to the present, nearly 30 countries and international organizations have given their preliminary confirmations that they will set up exhibitions at 2023 CIFTIS, and companies are actively signing up to be exhibitors in all thematic areas.

Dumitru Braghis, Ambassador of Moldova to China, delivering a welcoming speech

Dumitru Braghis, Ambassador of Moldova to China, delivered a speech at the events, in which he expressed his strong desire to establish more commercial relations between the two countries, and said that Moldova would continuously enhance bilateral economic, trade and investment exchanges, especially cooperation and exchanges in information technology and carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.

In combination with CIFTIS's new initiative to hold exhibitions in digital technology, carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, and energy, Zhou Yiwei, General Manager of Beijing Capital Group Exhibitions & Events, expounded on the role of CIFTIS as a national exhibition platform, which would further speed up China's high-quality industrialization.

Chen Jingyue, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of China-Europe Association for Technical and Economic Cooperation, gave an exposition of how to let international associations and influential domestic trade and investment promotion institutions play a role, and said that CEATEC would, as always, support CIFTIS in organizing and holding various business exchanges.

Zheng Xipeng, Deputy General Manager of SinoCarbon Innovation & Investment Co., Ltd. (SinoCarbon), made a CIFTIS-related keynote speech entitled "New Opportunities for Low-carbon Trade in Services", and exchanged insights into the solid foundation and huge potential of low-carbon trade in services, as well as the dimensions and specific services needed by companies with regard to low-carbon services.

Exhibition table exchanges at the events

Participants from scientific research institutes and institutions such as Beijing Academy of Science and Technology, Management Committee of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, China-Germany Industrial Park, and ZGC Global High-Level Think Tank Alliance, and 16 units specializing in information technology, new energy and new material industries such as Shangyicheng (Beijing) Technology and Culture Group., Beijing Hose Information Technology, Inc., Guangruntong Technology, Sino-tone (Beijing) Consulting Co., Ltd., and Guangzhou Yunxin, held exhibitions and exchanges at the exhibition table. Many institutions and companies expressed their willingness to be active exhibitors.
