Two-way study abroad: nurturing global talent

"'Two-Way Study Abroad' is not simply a merger of 'Study Abroad' and 'Study in China'," pointed out Wei Xubin, Deputy Director-General of Beijing Municipal Education Commission, during his keynote speech. He highlighted that in recent years, Beijing has established and improved a full-chain service system for international students in China through policy support and resource coordination, fostering a number of municipal-level platforms for admissions promotion, specialized programs, China studies, and career services. These efforts have significantly enhanced the brand value and influence of "Study in Beijing." Moving forward, the commission will prioritize four key areas: the enhancement of full-chain services, digital transformation, the development of standard and credit systems, and industry-education integration, to continually nurture and improve the study abroad sector's ecosystem and support the two-way flow and development of young talent from China and abroad.
