Official selling price of Kuwait Export Blend Crude for eastern buyers in June set at a discount of $6 a barrel to Oman/Dubai benchmark, according to a price list seen my Bloomberg.
Move is similar to Saudi Arabia, which announced a discount of $5.70 to the same benchmark for its Arab Medium grade
Kuwait to Reduce June Oil Volumes to at Least Two Asian Buyers
Kuwait Petroleum said it will cut contractual supplies by more than 20% to at least two term customers in Asia for June, according to traders who were informed by the state-owned company.
KPC said in a faxed statement to customers that the reduction in volumes will be in place until December
An email sent to KPC outside regular office hours wasn’t answered immediately
NOTE: On April 30, Bloomberg reported that KPC told customers it will cut crude sales by 22% in July-Dec.
