2025年5月15日，马来西亚太空科技协会（SMA）与中国卫星导航定位协会（GLAC）于马来西亚吉隆坡正式签署合作备忘录（MOU），共同致力于推动卫星导航技术、数据服务整合及太空科技在东盟区域的广泛应用。中国丝路集团董事长闫立金博士作为GLAC国际时空专委会主任出席活动并代表签约，同时就合作前景发表重要讲话。
May 15, 2025 – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – The Malaysian Space Tech Association (SMA) and the GNSS and LBS Association of China(GLAC) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Kuala Lumpur, committing to the joint promotion of satellite navigation technology, data service integration, and space technology applications across the ASEAN region.
Dr. Yan Lijin, Chairman of China Silk Road Group and Director of the GLAC Special Committee, attended the event and signed the MoU on behalf of GLAC. He also delivered a keynote speech outlining the prospects for cooperation.

此次合作涵盖卫星导航及北斗应用、卫星数据整合与服务提供、空间应用联合开发、政策倡导与监管协调、科研与商业化、人才发展与能力建设、市场准入与推广，以及国际合作与交流推广等领域，旨在通过技术协同与资源共享，助力东盟成员国在农业、海事、城市规划、环境监测、物流及灾难响应等领域的数字化转型。双方将组建联合工作组，推动重点项目落地实施。
The scope of this partnership includes BeiDou and satellite navigation applications, satellite data integration and service provision, joint development of space-based applications, policy advocacy and regulatory coordination, R&D and commercialization, talent cultivation and capacity building, market access and promotion, as well as international collaboration and outreach. Through technical collaboration and resource sharing, the cooperation aims to support ASEAN countries in accelerating digital transformation across sectors such as agriculture, maritime, urban planning, environmental monitoring, logistics, and disaster response. A joint working group will be established to drive the implementation of key projects.
马来西亚太空科技协会主席拿督谢国骅博士指出：“此次合作是马来西亚太空科技生态系统的里程碑，将加速区域创新并为东盟提供更高效的卫星技术解决方案。”
SMA Chairman Dato’Dr Seah Kok Wah stated, “This collaboration marks a milestone for Malaysia’s space technology ecosystem, accelerating regional innovation and delivering more efficient satellite solutions for ASEAN, leading by Malaysia.”
