In July, Sino-EU trains remain strong growth in terms of running train sets and TEU - the cumulative operation train sets reached 1232 and shipping goods amounted to 113,000 TEU - year-on-year growth here is 68%, 73% respectively. This is a quite large contribution to the stabilization of international logistics and supply chain, and a powerful service platform of “dual cycle” in both domestic and international conditions, as well as assistance of, international epidemic prevention cooperation.
In July, with the gradual recovery of China's economy, the international trade cargo transport had a continuous growth, thus the demand for Sino-EU freight train was quite strong. Railway authorities resolutely implement the Central Government "six stable " "six protect" decision deployment, and take advantages of partial transportation of Sino-EU trains and non-personnel quarantine, make full use of the port and channel capacity, to undertake importing and exporting goods. Among the transport journeys, there were 724 train sets (67,000 TEU) from China to Europe, year-on-year growth of 74%, 79%, respectively; while 508 train sets (46,000 TEU) back from Europe to China, year-on-year growth of 60% and 65% respectively. The total number of freight trains and the number of two-way freight trains hit a new historical record high in a single month, showing a trend of continuous and rapid growth.
To better serve China international trade enterprises and stabilize international trade and foreign investment, railway authorities have taken a series of effective measures to promote the high-quality development of Sino-EU freight trains.
First
deepen international cooperation. China has strengthened communication with railway enterprises of countries along the routes, established a mechanism of regular video conferences during the epidemic, and taken measures with overseas railway enterprises to strengthen coordination of international combined transport, so as to ensure the stability and smooth flow of international logistics channels for china-Europe freight trains.
Second
transportation organizations have been reinforced. Grasp market demand dynamically, make monthly and weekly freight train plan scientifically according to channel capacity, ensure the full shipment, and help enterprises to fully resume work and production.
Third
improve customs clearance efficiency. The 95306 digital port system has been successfully put into use at all railway ports and stations across the country, enabling online sharing of railway and customs data, automatic feedback of customs clearance status and other functions. International railway combined transportation is more efficient and convenient, and the customs clearance efficiency of railway ports has been significantly improved.
Last but not least
support international epidemic prevention. By the end of July, 4.97 million pieces of epidemic prevention supplies, or 39,000 tons, had been delivered, giving strong support to international epidemic prevention and control.
