IT/AV Analyst

This IT/AV Analyst is an information technology generalist whose primary duties are desktop, software and audio-visual (AV) support to the Duke Kunshan University faculty staff and students. But, as a generalist they will also perform other duties related to the network, system and database administration, and application support for broad and diverse IT environment. They will utilize service level agreements with Duke University technical staff and/or vendors to receive additional support when needed. This position requires a broad understanding of IT and AV systems and best practices, excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational abilities as well as strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.

IT/Application Analyst

This IT/Application Analyst is an information technology generalist whose primary duties are desktop/LAN, enterprise software/application, and server support for Duke Kunshan University's administrative operations. The analyst is responsible for supporting endpoints/devices for DKU's administrative and professional staff; supporting key enterprise applications including Yonyou ERP, building management systems, communications technologies, access and security control systems; and working with outsourced service providers to ensure any systems they manage meet DKU's enterprise IT standards. The analyst will provide direct support and additionally use service level agreements with Duke University technical staff and/or vendors to leverage additional support when needed.

Development Officer

The Development Officer is an integral member of DKU's development team, which consists of professionals in Durham, NC as well as Kunshan. This integrated team has joint accountability for fundraising and business development to find resources and establish networks to support the short-term as well as long-term success of DKU. The Development Officer also collaborates frequently with other DKU departments/teams that impact the strategy and execution of fundraising. The Development Officer also support alumni relations work in cooperation with DKU and Duke teams as well as volunteers, with the ultimate goal of enhancing DKU branding and achieving development goals.

DKU seeks to appoint an Assistant Director for Marketing and Recruiting to help launch a new International Master's in Environmental Management and Policy Program. Since the program is new to both DKU and China, DKU is looking for candidates that are willing and able to plan and take part in a wide variety of activities that will promote the program in China and internationally. Once the program is launched in the market, the Assistant Director would be responsible primarily for growing enrollments of qualified students in the International Master's in Environmental Management and Policy program (IMEMP).

Postdoctoral Fellow in Medical Physics

The postdoctoral position primarily involves medical physics research in the development of advanced functional, molecular, and anatomical imaging technologies and their potential clinical applications. Most of the work will be at DKU in Kunshan, China, with some time at Duke University in Durham NC, USA. The postdoctoral fellow will be working within a strong research network that includes the medical physics graduate programs at DKU and Duke University as well as collaborating researchers and laboratories in China.

The successful candidate for the Medical Physics Post-doctoral Fellow Position will hold a PhD in physics, biomedical engineering, or related fields with strong physical sciences and computational background.

Postdoctoral One Health Research Fellow

Designs, wins funding for and executes one health-oriented research in emerging infectious diseases in China and other low- and middle-income countries. This effort will require building close ties with various Chinese institution in and around Jiangsu Province and planning a microbiology laboratory at DKU.

Applicants should have a doctoral degree in public health, veterinary medicine, environmental health, medicine, epidemiology, microbiology, entomology, or a related field.
