Recently, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) released a list of exemplary cases of brand building and excellent brand stories by state-owned enterprises in 2021.
After the recommendation of GAC Group, Municipal SASAC, and Provincial SASAC, and the evaluation by SASAC, the brand internationalization case "GAC Global Brand Image Building Practice" submitted by GAC Group became one of only three enterprises in the Guangdong SASAC system to be successfully selected.

The selection activity aims to implement the deployment requirements of the Central Committee of the Party and the State Council on strengthening brand building, summarize and promote the outstanding experience and practices of brand building by state-owned enterprises and improve the standard of brand building.
The 100 representative cases of brand building and 100 excellent brand stories on the list were selected from 492 cases and 634 works of brand stories.

In 2019, GAC MOTOR was officially established. for Marketing
In June, GAC MOTOR reached an agreement with the Football Federation of Chile (ANPF) and became the partner and designated vehicle for the largest football event in Chile. Through active participation in various international auto shows, GAC MOTOR continues to exchange brand developments with users in the Americas, Africa, Asia and the Middle East, and continues to convey the brand's spirit of brand craftsmanship and shape brand influence.

Exploring Overseas Ridesharing
Together with the rapid rise of shared mobility and online vehicles, GAC MOTOR has joined hands with the Lagos State Government of Nigeria to create the LAGRIDE project, an online vehicle platform to help improve the current situation of local transportation, improve the living standards of residents while creating jobs and promoting the economic development of Nigeria. Currently, GAC MOTOR 1000 cars have been officially delivered to the Lagos State Government and deployed in the LAGRIDE project.

Topping the World’s Tallest Building
In October, GAC MOTOR launched a new car as an opportunity to plan a major brand marketing event and became the first Chinese car brand to light up the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. Presenting the strength of the brand and the charm of Chinese car craftsmanship to the Middle East and worldwide users through topic creation and social exposure.

GAC MOTOR actively cooperates with multinational companies through innovative collaboration to achieve mutual success, in the effort of promoting international business.
2021, GAC MOTOR collaborated with Stellantis, a well-known multinational automobile group, to expand the Mexican market. The first fleet of the rebranded GS5 "Dodge Journey" was officially launched in Mexico at the end of 2021.

In 2021, GAC MOTOR has won 8 prestigious overseas awards. In 2021, the total number of GAC MOTOR overseas social media platforms followers exceeded 1 million.

Under the influence of the increased brand attention, GAC MOTOR sales have been astonishing, showing a 72% increase from the previous year.
In the first half of this year, GAC MOTOR demonstrated an 84% annual increase in sale and the brand continues to maintain a strong growth trend.
