On July 7, Nigeria’s “G style” showroom was unveiled with the all new GS4 released on site. The event started with the soothing singing of the well-known singer Johnny Drille. Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos State governor, Chu Maoming, Chinese Consul General in Lagos, and the Executive Delegation of the Democratic Republic of Congo led by Mr. Claude Ibalanky, participated in the event. Joined by the press and the VIP customers, all the guests witnessed this grand moment.
It is the first showroom in Africa and the second one in the world with a “G style” and its unique and highly recognizable design.The new model has been fervently sought after by local consumers, as the first batch of all new GS4s sold out upon arrival in Nigeria.

The local dealer entertained the prestigious guests with a chill and pleasant cocktail party. The talented Nigerian singer Johnny Drille brought his concert to the showroom, lighting up the celebration. Jubril Arogundade, General Manager of Sales, then took the stage and introduced the brand and the exclusive dealer CIG MOTORS to the audience while pointing out the highlights and ingenuity of the all new GS4.

Governor Unveiled the “G Style” Showroom
Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu unveiled the brand new showroom in person. Opening the "G style" showroom in Nigeria is a milestone for GAC MOTOR’s growth and expansion in the Nigerian market.
The governor stated that he was delighted to see GAC and the Lagos State Government reaching a partnership in building an auto assembly plant here. Earlier, the governor also visited the workshop of the “G style” showroom. The governor was intrigued by the workshop’s functions, including quick maintenance, general maintenance, and four-wheel alignment.

The much-expected all new GS4 was unveiled in front of all the guests. The classy and black-tuned new model was so overpowering that the audience was instantly fascinated. Then the parade of the new cars slowly drove onto the stage, setting the celebration on fire. Chief Diana Chen, the Chair of CIG Motors, expressed in her remarks that the G-style showroom and workshop were designed to meet world-class needs. CIG Motors planned to open five such facilities across the country.
During the new car test drives, the guests on the spot were amazed at the remarkable charm of this luxury model that combines design aesthetics with technology and intelligence. The youngsters also favored its spacious, innovative cabin and stylish, sporty interior. Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu experienced the all new GS4 and spoke highly of it afterward.

An Intentional Procurement Agreement Was Reached with the Executive Delegation of the Democratic Republic of Congo
The Executive Delegation of the Democratic Republic of Congo made a trip to the “G style” showroom, attended the event, and visited the maintenance workshop and KD factory accompanied by the local staff. On the day of the event, the two parties held a formal meeting and reached a preliminary purchase agreement.

Nigeria, a Critical Market in the Making
After years of dedicated nurturing, GAC MOTOR has harvested fruitful outcomes in Nigeria. Last year, GAC MOTOR won the “Automobile Enterprise of the Year” award in Nigeria. The Chinese Embassy in Nigeria also selected it to be the vehicle for diplomats. This year, LAGRIDE, an urban public transport project in Lagos State, was officially launched, with 1,000 cars successfully delivered, setting a new example for exports.
