1月23-25日,广汽国际总经理卫海岗带队赴泰国开展市场调研,出席2025年广汽埃安泰国经销商大会,拜访泰国工业部部长埃卡纳·蓬潘、本地经销商与合作伙伴。通过深入调研当地汽车市场,不仅密切了与当地政商、合作伙伴关系,加速本地化生产及销售业务发展,更凸显广汽深耕泰国,拓展东盟市场的战略决心。广汽埃安东南亚负责人王浩勇、广汽国际产品管理部总监周松和客户服务部总监赵磊等陪同调研。
聚共识,携手谱新篇
1月24日,2025年广汽埃安泰国经销商大会在泰国曼谷隆重举行。本次大会以“创变·向未来”为主题,卫海岗一行与埃安泰国团队、经销商投资人、管理团队等150多人共聚一堂,共商广汽在泰国市场2025战略规划,与创新变革行动纲领。

会上,王浩勇全面回顾2024年深耕泰国市场的成果,并对2025年全年各领域工作进行部署。面向2025,埃安泰国将正式启动“1+1+3”的新战略,导入品牌价值体系“ONE GAC”,融合广汽国际销售服务标准体系“GSSW”。同时依托广汽集团,投入更多的战略资源,在泰国导入更多全球车型,丰富产品矩阵,助力泰国市场全面发力,实现销量稳步增长,量利双收。埃安泰国销售公司销售部部长刘庆欣从销售、市场、服务三大板块,分享了具体变革策略,埃安泰国将开启全面提升变革。

本次行程中,卫海岗一行拜访了泰国工业部长埃卡纳·蓬潘,介绍了广汽在泰最新品牌进展和战略规划。为庆祝中泰建交50周年,卫海岗邀请部长择机访问全球唯一新能源汽车灯塔工厂——广汽埃安广州工厂,体验广汽无人驾驶飞行汽车。

卫海岗表示,广汽对泰国市场充满信心,愿意将先进技术引入泰国,致力于培养泰国产业人才,推动本土零部件供应商发展。未来计划将泰国打造成全球产销基地和商贸物流中心,集销售、售后服务和电池维护于一体的综合运营中心,面向全球出口汽车,打造成为全球业务运营的样板。
埃卡纳充分肯定了广汽携全产业链出海的经营理念以及通过人才培养和发展本土零部件供应商来促进泰国工业发展的做法。他表示工业部将为包括广汽在内的各国投资者提供支持和便利,推动产业投资,促进汽车出口。
卫海岗一行还拜访了泰国中华总商会主席林楚钦,双方围绕中泰经济合作,中资企业、中国汽车品牌在泰发展等课题展开了友好交流。卫海岗表示希望今后双方加强合作,深入推广中国新能源汽车品牌,为泰中两国经济及友好发展贡献力量。林楚钦对广汽的泰国战略、优秀产品力表达了高度肯定。

访门店,情系一线心
目前,广汽正加速以泰国为核心的东南亚市场布局。2024年,在泰国累计认定70家渠道建成59家,覆盖35个府。为聆听一线声音,推动广汽品牌在泰发展,卫海岗一行实地拜访了广汽商贸泰国一店、V Group、Gold Integrate 3家泰国核心经销商,并召开业务座谈会,系统性调研了经销商店的运营情况,并根据经销商诉求探讨解决措施。

From January 23 to 25, Wei Haigang, President of GAC International, spearheaded a trip to Thailand. The visit encompassed market research, participation in the 2025 GAC AION Thailand Distributor Conference, and meetings with Akanat Promphan, the Minister of Ministry of Industry, and local distributors and partners. This in-depth foray into the Thai automotive market fortified GAC's ties with local political and business elites and partners. It also significantly boosted local production and sales initiatives, underscoring GAC's strategic resolve to deepen its presence in Thailand and expand across the ASEAN market. Accompanying Wei Haigang on this trip were Wang Haoyong, head of GAC AION Southeast Asia, Zhou Song, Director of GAC International Product Management Department, and Zhao Lei, Director of its Customer Service Department.

On January 24, the 2025 GAC AION Thailand Distributor Conference took center stage in Bangkok, Thailand. Under the theme "Innovation for the Future", the event brought together over 150 participants, including Wei Haigang and his delegation, the GAC AION Thailand crew, distributor investors, and management personnel. During the conference, they delved into GAC's strategic roadmap for 2025 in the Thai market, and action plans for innovation and transformation.

At the Conference, Wang Haoyong thoroughly reviewed the fruits in the Thai market in 2024 and rolled out a detailed work plan for each sphere in 2025. Looking forward to 2025, GAC AION Thailand is set to officially kick off the "1+1+3" new strategy. It will Introduce the brand value system "ONE GAC" and incorporate the GAC INTERNATIONAL sales and service standard system "GSSW". Meanwhile, leaning on the strength of the GAC Group, more strategic resources will be poured in, more global models will be imported to enrich the product lineup, sparking a full-throttle drive in the Thai market, aiming for steady sales growth and securing both sales and profits. Liu Qingxin, head of the sales department of GAC AION Thailand Sales Company, shared specific transformation strategies from three major aspects: sales, marketing, and service. GAC AION Thailand will initiate a comprehensive upgrading transformation.

Wei Haigang highly commended the remarkable achievements of the Thai market in 2024. He emphasized that GAC is set to expedite its global strategic resource allocation, aims to intensify the integration of international operations, harnessing the collective strength of the entire group. Base on GAC's comprehensive ecosystem for its overseas drive, the firm will capitalize on its leading edges in "Top-tier Quality" and "Pioneering Technology" to propel the growth of overseas markets at a swifter pace.
At the same time, he also put forward three requests. Firstly, brand renewal, with the globally unified "One GAC" brand image, deepen the brand connotations of quality leadership and technological innovation. Secondly, service renewal, adhering to the concept of "Service First, Customers First", implement the GAC INTERNATIONAL Sales and Service Way (GSSW) into practice and improve the service guarantee system in the Thai market. Thirdly, operation renewal, taking "Integrating into Thailand, Serving Thailand" as the business philosophy, build an operation system that highly conforms to the local market and comprehensively enhance the system's combat capabilities.

The achievements made in the Thai market throughout the year would not have been possible without the dedication and support of every distributor partner. At the end of the conference, an award ceremony was held to honor outstanding distributor representatives in 2024. Guo Hongxu, General Manager of GAC Business, and Pananya Jira - alongkorn, director of V Group, as outstanding distributor representatives in Thailand, respectively shared their successful experiences in rapidly increasing sales volume for newly established stores and integrating marketing strategies to empower sales.

China - Thailand: One Family Bond
During this trip, Wei Haigang, accompanied by his delegation, met with Akanat Promphan, the Minister of Ministry of Industry. Wei Haigang introduced the latest brand progress and strategic plans of GAC in Thailand. Marking the 50th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between China and Thailand, Wei Haigang extended an invitation to the minister to pay a visit to the GAC AION Guangzhou Factory – the sole lighthouse factory for new energy vehicles global, with an offer to experience GAC's driverless flying car firsthand.

Wei Haigang stated that GAC has full confidence in the Thai market and is willing to introduce advanced technologies to Thailand. The company aims to cultivate industrial talents in Thailand and promote the development of local parts suppliers. In the future, it plans to transform Thailand into a global production and sales base as well as a commercial and logistics center, a comprehensive operation center integrating sales, after-sales service, and battery maintenance, exporting vehicles globally and making it a model for global business operations.
Akanat Promphan gave a full thumbs-up to GAC's business concept of venturing overseas with its complete industrial chain. Moreover, he lauded GAC's efforts in fueling Thailand's industrial progress by cultivating talents and fostering local parts suppliers. He stated that the Ministry of Industry would extend a helping hand to investors hailing from different nations, with GAC Group being among them. This support was aimed at spurring industrial investment and facilitating automobile exports.
Wei Haigang and his delegation also paid a visit to Lin Chuqin, the chairman of the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce. The two sides carried out friendly exchanges centering on topics such as China-Thailand economic cooperation, the development of Chinese-funded enterprises, and Chinese auto brands in Thailand. Wei Haigang hoped that in the future, the two sides would strengthen cooperation to further promote Chinese new energy vehicle brands on the ground and contribute to the economic and friendly development of Thailand and China. Lin Chuqin highly affirmed GAC's Thailand strategy and outstanding product strength.

Connections for Frontline
At present, GAC is accelerating its layout in the Southeast Asian market with Thailand as the core. In 2024, a cumulative total of 70 channels were identified in Thailand and 59 were established, covering 35 provinces. To listen to the voices from the front line and promote the development of the GAC brand in Thailand, Wei Haigang and his delegation conducted field visits to GAC Business Thailand Showroom I, V Group, Gold Integrate, three core distributors in Thailand, and held business seminars. They systematically investigated the operation status, and demands of distributors, and discussed solutions.

Wei Haigang stated that GAC will focus on upgrading the GAC Business Thailand Showroom I into a benchmark showroom in Thailand and an overseas demonstration dealership store, prompting it to other overseas markets. Meanwhile, GAC will strengthen the use of the digital system for after-sales parts, build a comprehensive and fast response mechanism for spare parts. Wei Haigang and his delegation also took in-depth research on the challenges and pain points of mobility finance in Thailand, with considerations given to elevating the service quality of the mobility market. This way, distributors can be empowered to augment sales from the financial and mobility perspectives.

In Thailand, for Thailand. As the second-largest auto market in Southeast Asia and a founding member of ASEAN, Thailand marks the 50th anniversary of China-Thailand diplomatic ties this year, offering a prime opportunity for GAC's accelerated growth. Drawing on the survey results, GAC will further bolster its brand value, expand market reach, hasten product rollouts, and enhance service quality in Thailand. By sharpening its product, brand, marketing, sales, service, and execution capabilities, GAC aims to make new strides in the Thai market.
