In April 2025, GAC achieved a significant dual breakthrough in the South American market, showcasing its products at the Bolivia Expo Auto Show and Uruguay Expoactiva Auto Shows, as well as sponsoring the Bolivia Half Marathon. Through this innovative combination of “Technology + Sports,” GAC deepened its presence in the South American market, further solidifying the diversified strength of the GAC brand.

At the La Paz Expo Auto in Bolivia, GAC showcased three strategic models: GAC Empow 和 GAC Empow Plus and GS8. The Empow features futuristic tech with its "Shining Wing" grille, sleek body lines, 12.3-inch HD instrument panel, 14.6-inch central screen, and ADiGO Pilot smart driving assistance system. The Empow Plus stood out with its sporty design and efficient powertrain, catering dual demands to young consumers for performance and environmental friendliness. The flagship model SUV GS8, impressed with its spacious interior, luxurious features such as "queen's reclining seats" seat ventilation and heating, and a six-generation BorgWarner four-wheel drive system, highlighting both comfort and safety. Half Marathon
The Bolivia Half Marathon successfully kicked off in April, as the title sponsor, GAC contributed to the event's spectacular presentation. This event attracted over 1,400 runners from across the country. The support vehicle fleet offered by GAC, equipped with L2-level autonomous driving systems, ensured zero faults throughout the race, with the intelligent navigation system precisely monitoring the course, fully demonstrating the robust technological capabilities of GAC. As the title sponsor of the event, GAC deepened its “Mobility on Technology” brand identity with two key initiatives: “Smart Escort” – the L2 system maintained a safe distance and kept the car centered in its lane to ensure the event's safety; and “Ideological Integration” – the vehicle’s slogans and the GAC Running Team took home the gold medals in both 12km and 21km categories, collectively conveying the concept of the integration of technology and sports.
