摩洛哥当地时间5月23日至24日,广州市常务副市长陈杰率广州市政府代表团访问摩洛哥,广汽国际副总经理王顺胜随团出访。代表团参观了中信戴卡摩洛哥工厂,并先后拜访中国驻摩洛哥大使馆、拉巴特市政府及摩洛哥投资发展署,围绕深化经贸合作展开深入交流。
5月23日,代表团在摩洛哥肯尼特拉市考察了中信戴卡摩洛哥工厂。陈杰表示,中信戴卡是中资企业在摩洛哥成功投资的标杆企业,希望广州的企业,特别是新能源汽车、电池材料等领域的相关企业借鉴中信戴卡的成功经验,在摩洛哥投资发展,促进两国的经贸发展。王顺胜表明了广汽与中信戴卡在国内市场已深度合作,借助此次访问,双方将进一步探讨在海外市场的配套合作机会,促进彼此事业的发展。

5月24日,代表团在拉巴特拜访了中国驻摩洛哥大使馆,与李昌林大使进行了交流。李昌林向广州代表团介绍了摩洛哥的政治经济环境,表示摩洛哥政局稳定、地理位置优越、经济稳步增长、汽车出口产业发达。陈杰感谢中国驻摩洛哥大使馆对广州企业来摩投资给予的支持和帮助,并表示广州市将加强推动相关企业践行“中国企业走出去”的发展战略。王顺胜也向李昌林表示非洲是广汽海外的重要市场,不久前广汽在埃及与合作伙伴签订了现地化生产的合作协议,这是广汽践行非洲战略的重要标志,本次来访也充分体现了对摩洛哥市场的高度重视,除了开拓整车产品的销售外,也将研究在摩洛哥现地化生产的可能,借助其良好投资环境和政策投资建厂,生产产品可考虑覆盖当地以及非洲甚至欧洲有关市场。

5月24日,代表团一行还拜访了拉巴特政府。拉巴特政府向代表团介绍了拉巴特及其周边区域的良好投资环境和政策支持,欢迎广州相关企业前来考察和投资设厂,推动双方经贸的往来和发展。陈杰表示双方后续可以在新能源汽车、AI技术、生物医药、卫星技术等领域加大合作,并指出本次一同来访的广汽就是广州市的代表性汽车企业,在新能源汽车、电池技术、无人驾驶等领域具有深厚的技术积淀和优异的市场表现,接下来可以继续接洽深入探讨,研究在摩洛哥当地开展业务的机会。

代表团还访问了摩洛哥投资发展署(AMDIE)。双方就有关的投资环境,政策支持以及在摩洛哥投资的关心事项进行了友好的交流和积极的探讨。

From May 23 to 24 local time, a government delegation led by Chen Jie, Executive Vice Mayor of Guangzhou, visited Morocco. Wang Shunsheng, Vice President of GAC INTERNATIONAL, joined the delegation. The group visited the CITIC Dicastal factory in Kenitra and held meetings with the Chinese Embassy in Morocco, the Rabat city government, and the Moroccan Investment and Export Development Agency (AMDIE) to deepen economic and trade cooperation.
On May 23, the delegation visited the CITIC Dicastal plant in Kenitra. Chen Jie praised CITIC Dicastal as a benchmark of Chinese investment project in Morocco and encouraged enterprises from Guangzhou—particularly those in new energy vehicles and battery materials—to learn from its success and pursue investment opportunities in Morocco. Wang Shunsheng noted the strong partnership between GAC and CITIC Dicastal in China and expressed hopes to explore collaboration opportunities in overseas markets through this visit.

On May 24, the delegation visited the Chinese Embassy in Rabat and met with Ambassador Li Changlin. Ambassador Li introduced Morocco’s political and economic environment, highlighting its stability, strategic location, economic growth, and strong automotive export industry. Chen Jie thanked the embassy for its support of Guangzhou enterprises and affirmed the city’s commitment to advancing the “Chinese Enterprises Go Global” strategy. Wang Shunsheng added that Africa is a key market for the global expansion of GAC. He cited a recent agreement signed in Egypt for localized production and emphasized strong interest of GAC in exploring localized manufacturing opportunities in Morocco to serve markets across Africa and potentially Europe.

Also on May 24, the delegation visited the Rabat city government. Local officers introduced the favorable investment environment and supportive policies of the region, with warmly welcoming to Guangzhou enterprises to invest locally. Chen Jie proposed further cooperation in areas such as new energy vehicles, AI, biopharmaceuticals, and satellite technology. He highlighted GAC as a leading representative of Guangzhou’s automotive industry, with strong capabilities in NEVs, battery technology, and autonomous driving. He suggested that GAC could explore deeper cooperation and evaluate opportunities to establish operations in Morocco.

The delegation also visited the Moroccan Investment and Export Development Agency (AMDIE), where the two parties held productive discussions on investment conditions, policy support, and topics of mutual concern related to doing business in Morocco.

This visit responded actively to the Guangzhou municipal government’s call for enterprises to “go global” and marked a solid step in GAC’s commitment to deepening its international footprint. Moving forward, GAC INTERNATIONAL will accelerate market development in Morocco, conduct research into localized production, and further integrate into regional cooperation frameworks. The company aims to contribute Chinese innovation and solutions to Africa’s green, low-carbon, and mutually beneficial future.
