三、签证的有效期、入境次数和停留期 　

Visa validity, number of arrivals and length of stay　

（一）签证的有效期(“Enter Before”)，系指签证本身的有效期限，即自签证颁发之日起到持证人可入境中国的截止日期（以北京时间为准）。如仍有未使用的入境次数，在有效期满前（含当日），持证人均可入境。

The term of validity of the visa ("enter before") refers to the term of validity of the visa itself, that is, from the date of issuance of the visa to the deadline for the permit holder to enter China (Beijing time shall prevail). If there are still unused entry times, the holder can enter the country before the expiration of the validity period (including that day).　 　

（二）签证的入境次数(“Entries”)，系指持证人在签证有效期内可以进入中国国境的次数。入境次数用完或入境次数未用完、但已过有效期的签证，均为失效签证。如需前往中国，须重新申请签证。如持证人持失效签证来华，将被拒绝入境。 　

The number of entry of a visa ("entries") refers to the number of times that the holder can enter the Chinese territory during the validity period of the visa. A visa that has been used up or has not been used up but has expired is an invalid visa. If you need to go to China, you need to apply for a new visa. If the holder comes to China with an invalid visa, he will be refused entry.

（三）签证的停留期(“Duration of Each Stay”)，系指持证人每次入境中国后被允许在华停留的最长天数，即从入境次日起计算，持证人可在华停留的最长天数。外国人超过签证或外国人停留、居留证件许可的期限在华停留，将被处以罚款等处罚。 　

The duration of each stay refers to the maximum number of days that the holder is allowed to stay in China after each entry into China, i.e. the maximum number of days that the holder can stay in China from the next day of entry. Foreigners who stay in China beyond the time limit permitted by their visa or residence permit will be fined and other penalties.　

持D、Q1、J1、S1、X1和Z字签证者，在自入境之日起30日内，必须前往当地县级以上地方公安机关申办居留手续。

Holders of visa D, Q1, J1, S1, X1 and Z must apply for residence at local public security organs above the county level within 30 days from the date of entry.
