250张 中外选手的优秀作品经历了初次的严格筛选，我们很高兴在此宣布入围2018年成都首届中外国际摄影大赛的20张优秀作品。
- 我们这一次的比赛没有主题限制，因此收到的摄影作品主题包括自然风光、动物、旅行到街拍等。评委们将会从入围的优秀照片中选出最终的前三名，最后的结果将于10月29日公布。-
这里我们将展示入围的前20张最优秀的照片，虽然最终的前三名将会由评委们决定，但你们的投票结果也会影响到他们的评判结果，而第四名（最佳人气作品）则完全由大家的投票决定。投票截止时间为10月24日。
After a fantastic response from Chengdu Photography Community, we are delighted to announce the shortlist for the Chengdu First International Photography Competition 2018.
This year’s competition received over 250 photographs giving a fascinating insight into our photographers' best photos. This time we decided not to limit you to a certain category, so we have entries from various photography styles. From nature and wildlife to travel and street photography.
The judging panel will now decide on the winners and runners-up from the shortlisted photographs and winners will be announced on October 29.
So here there are the top 20 entries from this competition. The first 3 places will be selected by the judges, but you can still influence their opinion with your votes, the 4th place is entirely dependent on you. The voting deadline will be 24th October.

那天我们一起在成都的一个老茶馆度过了一个美好的早晨，还拍了一些照片。期间我看到一个服务员用一种特殊的方式弄去干茶盘，然后我做好拍摄的准备。那时太阳正在升起，阳光从窗户洒进来透过每一个水滴，这样每个水滴都呈现出不同的光感，最后我还是比较幸运地拍下了这张照片，虽然花费了一小段时间。
We spent a lovely morning drinking tea and snapping photos in an ancient tea house in Chengdu. I saw one of the waiter drying the tea tray in a very particular way, so I positioned myself and got ready for the shoot. The morning sun was rising and the light from the window made every drop of water shine with its own light. I got lucky enough to capture the moment -- it only lasted for a short while.

There are very frequent training sessions in this dangerous and unfamiliar region. In order to keep a good combat shape, they carried on a training at the eve of the national holiday. The projects included passing complicated grassland with obstacles; ambush, concealment, investigation on road, speed-passing posioned areas. In this photo, soldiers were passing by a poisoned area.

这张照片拍摄于清迈北部的大象孤儿院。
看大象是去泰国旅游必须打卡的事，这个大象孤儿院的伟大之处在于他们使用的商业模式在盈利的同时也能帮助大象。孤儿院的经营者Alex同时也是非营利组织“Daughters Rising”的创始人，他们帮助那些从缅甸被拐卖来的女童学习生存、语言技能，然后资助她们去谋生、工作或者做一些小生意。如果你有机会去到清迈，去这里一定不会失望，尤其是如果你带了小孩一起。
This occurs during my short visit to the elephant sanctuary in northern Chiangmai.
The elephant related tourism activities has always been a “must thing to do” in Thailand. What’s so great about the elephant sanctuary is that it demonstrates a business model that is much more profitable, meanwhile, benefits the elephants. The owner of this business Alexa is the founder of an NGO called Daughters Rising, which helps trafficked girls from Myanmar to learn survival skills, language skills, then fund them to do whatever they hope to do with their lives, collage, small businesses etc. If you come to Chiangmai, this is definitely the place you want to visit, especially for kids

We are all used to noticing the final products: a stunning performance, or well-polished potteries. We rarely see the hard work behind the scenes. My shot, Behind the Scenes, captures the unseen, and the juxtaposition of the hanging utensils with disheveled stains represents that both glorious products and efforts made behind the scenes should be appreciated equally.

到达曼德勒的第二天去了Thidagu World Buddhist University。整个校园很静谧，零零散散的僧人在树下背诵,静谧而神。圣落日余晖，宿舍底层一个僧人在念经。
I went to Thidagu World Buddhist University the second day I went to Mandalay. The campus was quiet, just with a few monks reading under the trees, holy and peaceful. One monk sitting on the groud floor was singing mantra.
怀着对文化交流活动的热忱与艺术无国界信仰的笃定，我们很荣幸和各位合作伙伴们一起主办了《成都首届中外国际摄影大赛》。
这或许并不是一场多么专业的大赛，但我们从中看到了许多的可能：国际化进程中的成都，飞速发展的不仅仅是科技与经济。
与此同时，来到这里的外国人开始探索这座城市的魅力，他们在与当地人的交流和合作中，得到启发；而生活在这座城市的年轻人，遇见了前所未有的机遇，在艺术/语言/思维等方面得到了更多的视角。
而这种文化的生机，是我们可以透过本次优秀作品去共同见证的。
