刚刚过去的2018年,是国家“一带一路倡议”提出第五周年,在各项政策的支持及国际化相关项目的推进中,倡议变为了现实。一直奋斗在外籍人力资源服务一线的我们,很荣幸受到了中央四套,二套的专访:


When we started LAOWAI HERE, we knew the road would be long and difficult. With the support of various policies and the promotion of international programs such as the Belt and Road strategy, our dreams are becoming realities. We have been pushing forward on the front line of foreign human resources services, and last year, we were honored to have our efforts acknowledged with interviews from both CCTV4 and CCTV2.

Since first coming together in 2014, LAOWAI HERE has been committed to providing foreign HR services alongside China’s “international development process” and the Belt and Road Strategy. Our diverse team is tuned-in to the cultural differences and challenges that may arise for foreign talents in China, with rich backgrounds in foreign talent sourcing and knowledge of various industry expertise.

 

Over the years, we have gradually developed into a national provider of foreign HR services, with education and manufacturing industries at our core.

In 2018, LAOWAI HERE changed its strategic direction to respond to market demand. During the whole operation process, LAOWAI HERE continuously integrates resources and repeatedly polishes its foreign talent service product line to enhance customer service experience by trial and error, aiming at the recruitment market of the education industry and manufacturing industry.


充分考虑的O2O混合的必要性,老外HERE将从2019年开始准备转换进入数字营销驱动的业务模式,借鉴于其他行业的此类模式包括租赁二级市场(共享经济)、个性化经济(管理订阅),自动补货和通过补货经济智能订购,服务经济(“Do it for me”),使商业模式适应新的高效率的招聘趋势来实现共赢。


In order to rapidly grow into a leading position in the recruitment industry in China, LAOWAI HERE is prepared to take the lead in investing more resources into the foreign human resources service subdivision industry to optimize the use of new technologies and innovative ways of working, and enhance the ability of digital marketing to achieve the goal of providing high value-added services to candidates and customers.


A well-considered O2O mix is essential, and LAOWAI HERE will need to prepare for a digital-enabled business model. Examples of such models in other industries include rental and secondary markets (the sharing economy), the personalization economy (curated subscriptions), auto replenishment and smart ordering via the replenishment economy, and the services economy (“Do it for me.”). Adapting ones business model to accommodate new trends could be highly profitable.

随着成都市国际化建设进程的不断加深,越来越多的外籍人士选择来到成都生活、旅游、创业安家;那堵曾经对文化和环境陌生而畏惧的高墙,随着成都各个特色国际化区域逐步成型,本地全球居民不断增加以及成都人特有的热情和友好而潜移默化地瓦解。


在帮助外籍人才适应本地生活增进文化理解方面,老外HERE也做出了不懈的努力。在艺术文化、公益环保、工作创业、及生活娱乐等多个方面构筑“桥梁”,增强外籍人才归属感及他们与新环境、新的人际关系网之间的联系。



除了工作,接近一半的人认为他们能很好地融入当地,也很容易交到新朋友;近40%的人还找了长期合作伙伴,认为在中国定居没有困难。有60%的外国人认为中国比家乡更安全和得到隐私保障。


We have made greater efforts to try and help foreign talents adapt to local life and enhance cultural understanding, bridging the gaps in art, culture, public welfare, work, entrepreneurship, life and entertainment. 


然而在中国,环境污染、在银行办理金融业务、医疗保健、小孩的入学等方面,对于外国人来讲都还是目前有待改善的问题。


In addition to work, nearly half of foreign talents feel that they can integrate well within the local community; almost 40% found long-term partnerships, and felt little difficulty setting up their lives in China. 60% believed that China is safer and more secure than their homeplace. 




In the context of talent development and diversification, how should companies better equip themselves with international talents? 


How might those companies successfully retain such talents from different cultural backgrounds? 


In this new era of global market competition, how should domestic enterprises face-up to their lack of overseas market influence, skills, and experience?


These problems quite clearly lead to the same direction:



1. Cross-cultural management ability will become a compulsory lesson for enterprises looking to develop in overseas markets.


2. In the long run, Chinese companies must develop their recruitment and training plans to incorporate a diverse range of local and international talents, so as to enhance their industry experience, knowledge, and competitiveness. 



We will continue to put more attention and effort into how to overcome such problems. 


In 2019, we are looking forward to continuing to provide high-quality foreign HR services and talent solutions for enterprises in China. With new colleagues joining our team, and several new offices establishing around the world, we have a wider range of recruitmet channels and an even more professionalized, mature HR service.
