大家期待已久的“狗医生关爱”活动，终于在本周一举行了。4种不同品种的网红狗狗，空降work+创空间，引来了姑娘们一阵又一阵的尖叫声
The long-anticipated ‘Dr Dog Animal Therapy’ Event was held on Monday!
Four different breeds of online-celebrity-status dogs visited the incubator and co-working space, Work+. They were greeted with screams of delight from office staff as they walked into the communal cafeteria.
他们分别是贵宾犬丫丫、银狐雪糕、金毛豆豆、以及萨摩耶维尼。
The four doggy guests were:
A Poodle named Yaya.
A Japanese Spitz named Xuegao (ice cream).
A Golden Retriever named Doudou.
And a Samoyed named Weini (Winnie).
Work+平日在工作时不苟言笑的小伙伴们，在见到这些狗狗到来时，瞬间像变了一个人。他们抱抱，摸摸，溺爱地揉着这些小天使的头。
In the offices of Work+, staff are typically busy working away under all the usual pressures of 9-to-5 employment. But Monday was no typical working day. On seeing the dogs entering their office, employees instantly had a smile on their faces.
Everyone had the opportunity to hug, stroke and play with the dogs. We’re not sure who was enjoying it more – the dogs or the people!
我们很开心可以用这样充满正能量的活动，在为办公室白领们送去关爱的同时，呼吁更多的人了解伴侣动物对人类的贡献和帮助，改变人们对动物的态度。
We were extremely pleased with the result of this event. With a little bit of pet therapy, it’s hoped that these hard-working office staff may feel more at ease and refueled for the rest of the day.
We hope that through events such as this one that more people can understand and appreciate the valuable contribution animals can make towards humans, and step-by-step, perhaps people’s attitudes towards our fellow creatures can improve.

什么是“狗医生“”？
“狗医生”是亚洲动物基金一项创新性的动物治疗项目，由亚洲动物基金创办人谢罗便臣女士1991年发起。通过让经过严格考试的“狗医生”志愿者探访病人、老人、残疾儿童以及其他有需要的人，给人们带去了温暖和慰籍。为数众多的科学研究表明，许多身体的疾病是由于精神紧张引起的，与伴侣动物亲近可以给病人的身心健康带来巨大的好处，而且能够改善与他人的社交和沟通，让人更加健康。四川大学华西第四医院李金祥教授就曾表示：“狗医生给病人带来的快乐是任何药物都无法代替的。”
“狗医生”计划作为亚洲地区首个动物治疗计划，同时在许多方面给人们对待动物的态度带来了深远的影响。“狗医生”让人们有机会了解伴侣动物对人类的贡献和帮助，以实际行动证明狗是人类最好的朋友和帮手，从而改变人们对动物的态度，以“动物助人助己”的方式改善猫和狗等小动物的生存状况。
“What is Dr Dog?”
Dr Dog is an innovative animal-assisted therapy programme led by Animals Asia. The programme aims to change the way people feel about dogs, as well as provide people with something that they might be needing the most – a best friend. In China, where Animals Asia’s work is focused, Dr Dog is challenging beliefs and changing lives for animals.
Through Dr Dog, registered therapy dogs (led by volunteers, typically their owners) are visiting hospitals, homes for the elderly, disabled centres, orphanages and schools across China. There are over 1000 qualified animal therapy dogs and many teams of enthusiastic volunteers.
