意大利的菜肴源自古罗马帝国宫廷，有着浓郁的文艺复兴时代佛罗伦萨的膳食情韵，素称“欧洲大陆烹调之母”，在世界上享有很高的声誉。

意大利菜之所以又被称为“地道与传统”，是因为烹制意大利菜，总是少不了橄榄油、黑橄榄、干白酪、香料、西红柿与Marsala酒，这六种食材是意大利菜肴调理上的灵魂。

我们所熟悉的意大利面、意大利博饼（比萨）都是他们的拿手菜，而且光是一个意面就可以做多样品种，口味丰富。各种精致的意大利菜式也是让纷纷让人们赞不绝口，不禁想想都直流口水。

说完美食，意大利还有一个不可或缺的就是美酒！意大利是个嗜酒的民族。无论男女都爱饮酒，甚至喝咖啡时也要掺酒以增加其香味。因为饮酒，一餐饭的时间往往托得很长，所以意大利人有一句口头禅：“不愿花时间就别喝酒”。

本期我们将邀请到来自意大利的Simone，曾经的亚洲传媒合作集团首席执行官变身为意大利餐厅主厨，以前叱咤于各大体育赛事，现今转战于美食主场。相邀大家一起共赴一场意大利美食之旅，体验味蕾上的极致美味！

Since their establishment in 2016, Bucciano Restaurant has been widely regarded as one of the most authentic Italian restaurants in Chengdu. Their dishes are made of hearty ingredients imported from Italy, whilst also having a collection of Italian wines and alcohol. They also operate as a market, where people can buy their authentic products to take home and cook at a reasonable price.

Simone has been living and working in China for more than 10 years in the Sports and F&B industries. He has been involved in bringing some of the top Italian football clubs to China, whilst connecting Italy and China through a shared passion for football. His Italian restaurant Bucciano has been well established in Chengdu and received multiple awards for their food & service.

For this week’s International Millennials event, Simone will bring a taste of Italy to you. He will talk about his journey in Chengdu, Italian culture and how Buciano has helped to bridge the gap between the two countries here in Chengdu.  Their staff have also helped prepared some Italian delicacies for you to have a real taste of Italy!
