社区，即Community，这个在过往几年城市氛围营造中不断被提到的概念，除了作为链接中外居民的单位之外，也成为来自不同背景的人聚在一起所形成的温度和力量。

Community, a concept that has received a renewed focus in recent years, not only serves to link local and foreign residents and is emboldened by diversity.

应该如何向来自世界各地的朋友们解释我们所熟知的“社区”概念？在欧洲、拉丁美洲、亚洲的不同国家和地区，“社区”这一形态是如何与城市共生的？不同文化之下，人与社区的关系如何通过志愿服务建立？

How should we explain the concept of "community" to friends from around the world?throughout different countries and regions of Europe, Latin America, and Asia, how does the form of "community" coexist with city life? How is the relationship between people and the community established through volunteer service under different cultural influences?

本周四晚，我们请到了来自德国、西班牙、墨西哥、哥斯达黎加、乌兹别克斯坦5个国家的青年，以“Civic Connect，世界社区志愿服务研讨会”为题，看见社区，看见世界。

In exploration of these questions, we have invited young people from five countries: Germany, Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Uzbekistan, for the "Civic Connect: Global Community Volunteer Service Seminar," to see the community and see the world.

圣何塞·埃斯卡兰特社区

在英国杂志《暂停》（Time Out）发布的全球51个最“酷”社区榜单中，哥斯达黎加埃斯卡兰特社区（Barrio Escalante）位列全球第41位。埃斯卡兰特社区位于哥斯达黎加首都圣何塞（San José），距离中央大道（Avenida Central）非常近。

In the list of the 51 coolest communities in the world published by the British magazine Time Out, Barrio Escalante in Costa Rica ranked 41st globally. Barrio Escalante is located in the capital city of San José, very close to Avenida Central.
